[QUOTE="Teufelhuhn"][QUOTE="enduin"][QUOTE="ColoradoKindBud"] Personally, I was less than impressed. It looks exactly like the last 2 Metroid games & doesn't have online. I'll still pick it up & I'm glad you're all so stoked for it, but I don't think it's going to be as mindblowing as I was hoping for.
The control scheme doesn't change the fact that it still looks exactly like the last 2 games in the series & doesn't really seem to do anything new. Hope I'm wrong about it because I'm dying for good games on the Wii.

Well yeah it looks the same as Prime 1 and 2 its the same style and designers, but beyond that it looks much better graphically. Environments are larger and more detailed, same with character models, effects are more detailed, and lighting is better. The game is just better graphically, it cannot be denied, its pretty easy to see from good quality screens and vids and almost every single preview has stated how great it looks and that vids and screens do it no justice either. I dont think the game will dissapoint,
The graphical differences are very small, IMO. Most screens and videos don't look like they'd be out of place in MP1 or MP2.
I looked at some screens and videos for MP1 & 2... they look the same as the vids for 3, as in too much bloom, and everythings really blurry. This is one series where you have to see it in motion.
That's what I'm saying. Like, I understand what he and others mean, cause the HUD design is pretty much the same along with the upgrade icons, but in motion, as those who have played it have testified, whether cause of bloom lighting or whatnot, it looks SUPREMELY well in motion, in person.I remember the skeptics who said the same aboutEchoes, and I remember after everyone played it,most said it looked better than Halo 2.
Either way, Meotrid Prime 3 Corruptionsis but anothertestament to what graphical output can be achieved on the Wii, instead of shoddy ports, not to mention the gameplay.
