I chose the one thats going to get the AAA score :Pbob_nope_noneThe "I don't give a crap" option for you then?
Halo 3 by far.
I have absolute no interest in MP3 after MP1. Never even bothered with MP2. For me, the Prime series simply died after forcing myself to simply just beat MP1 for the hell of it. After all that ridiculous wandering around aimlessly and at the same my glucose level dropping from shear boredom, I knew the series would be stale after MP1.
And I know damn well many sheep here (not all) have not even bother completing MP2 due to shear boredom alone. I just don't see MP3 doing anything SIGNIFICANTLY different than its predecessors, other than Wiimote functionality.
A Multiplaying feature would be nice, considering the slick weapon system involved in MP3.
The difference between assuming and actually finding out are great and the later presents with much more satisfaction. In other words, play the ****ed game before condeming and critisizing it. Edit: And if Metroid Prime bored you, how can you stand to kill the same three enemies over and over and over agiain just in different places? At least Prime had exploration, weapon upgrades, boss battles, good level design, art direction, a story, and a GOTY from here. Halo has MP, and it does it great.Halo 3 by far.

I wonder if somehow Halo scores an 8 on gamespot, will people say Metroid Prime was a better series then halo. Seeing how Prime series would have cumilated a total higher score then the Halo series.GraveRIPIt already does if you count the PC version of Halo 1

You know what I think?
(Note to the Hellgast: If you don't freaking deliver I am cropping you out of the picture. }:C)

Nice bitter attitude. Here's an advice, go outside.
It's just my opinion dude, and that's all. Not a fact.
I could say the same thing about the RESURRECTING enemies in MP. How in hell can you kill the same enemies, back from the dead, over and over and over again?

Irony is, I felt the exact same way you did, but with Halo's single-player. It was among the most boring sp games I have ever played (along with The Longest Journey), level after level vs the same friggin enemies and the same lamo level design....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, it was becoming sheer boring torture. As a PC gamer, Halo just seemed quite a bit overrated as a FPS. DOOM II (1994) is leagues better, yep, thats right.
On the other hand, Metroid Prime was like nothing before it, a thinking persons game with shooting, puzzles, and platforming all brilliantly played through the eyes (visor) of Samus, so expertly done that the games Atmosphere went through the roof. Awesome graphics, art direction, unforgettable epic Boss battles, incredible Atmosphere, and among the all time great level (area) designs, its no wonder this game won GotY at so many places and is the 3rd highest ranked game at GameRankings (since the mid-90's). I'll take backtracking on beautiful Tallon IV over same level after level after level in Halo.
Metroid Prime games do not need multiplayer. It is clear that Prime 3 was a AAA game that lost points because it didn't have something it didn't need in the firstplace. GS is misguided.
DOES NO ONE KNOW IF HALO3 WILL HAVE SPLIT SCREEN CO-OP??
sorry about the caps but I really want to know.

Easy, the same way you complain about games you haven't played. It doesn't make any sense.Halo singleplayer. Halo multiplayer. Metroid story sucks. Gigas_YuuEven though that is your opinion, it sucks. Get a new one.

wow, that post screams win.
I'll be getting both, but I think I'll enjoy Halo 3 more just because I'll be able to play it online and locally with friends to add to the fun both in the campaign and in the various versus modes
[QUOTE="aniger_star"]Too bad that Halo:CE's campaign was better. A lot better. But yes, it's just my opinion along with millions of other people.foxhound_fox
"It's one of the few first-person shooters that manages to transcend its genre, meaning that it's not only an excellent first-person shooter, but it's an excellent game, period ... Not only is this easily the best of the Xbox launch games, but it's easily one of the best shooters ever, on any platform."
I would say they were pretty equal.. They did both get 9.7 also..

Yeah, but the Metroid quote doesn't mention FP anything, it just says game.[QUOTE="coreygames"][QUOTE="VERTIGO47"][QUOTE="coreygames"][QUOTE="VERTIGO47"]The difference between assuming and actually finding out are great and the later presents with much more satisfaction. You make it sound as though you've actually played MP3 and consider it "GODLY"
Let's start here. I have played MP3, I've already beaten it. I have a review up on my profile and yes, I do think it is godly. Mostly because I love the entire Metroid series, including all of the 2D games. So, how about you play the game?Yes, and with your experience you said that you hadn't played MP2 or 3 but were already passing judgement on them. And all I said in rebuttle was, play the game before exiling it. Get over yourself drama queen. [QUOTE="Mr Assumption"]Can I blame you and other sheep for not having any decent 3rd party games for the Wii? WTF do 3rd parties have to do with this conversation at all? Are you high or drunk?Firstly, I was talking about MY EXPERIENCE with MP along the review I read on MP3. Which pretty much explains why I'm not too optimistic about MP3.
One little opinion I made about your precious MP series, suddenly you go apesh*t. Jerk
Yes, the past two nights I've cried my-self to sleep over the... oh wait... I didn't, because I was too busy playing the game. I can have my opinion and you can have yours, but when your opinion is backed by nothing other than shear crap, you have to wonder if they are being a fanboy or not.Same with the other opinions out here and the apesh*t response you made. Please, get a life. Your just bitter  because MP3 got an 8.5 here.
Uninformed Person
hes on his second play through.laughingman42You remembered that? I posted that like, 7 hours ago. TY for /b/lackup BTW.
 coreygames
He wasn't even vehemently bashing the game. He's just not optimistic about it, based upon his experience from MP and the review he probably read.
What happen to the quotes? Apparently banned? Because you couldn't take the slight criticism?
