holy adsl;afjsd thats awsome! i kinda wish the MP2 multiplayer was online though. SilenthpsIt still wouldn't be any fun. :?

Same. New controls for 1 + 2. Yeah, a lot of people didn't like 2 as much as much as 1 and 3 flopped here(though it isn't bad), it was hyped AAA wasn't it? 9.1 is AAA. ;)a lot of people didn't like 2 as much as much as 1mitu123I never understood why. MP2 did everything that MP did better. It was harder, darker, prettier, had a better story and the music was more awesome.

Wow, that's a deal. I have all 3. I'll sell off MP3 and get this, because I want MP1 and 2 with the Wii controls.
New controls with tweak graphical enhancements and 16x9 and 480p with all three games costing $50 will sure attract a lot of people.

Great deal from nintendo, seriously, anyone who has missed out on any of these (firstly, WTF MAN) is lucky that such a package is coming out, 3 amazing games from Retro Studios. Also, wow i was surprised when I read that the release date of this package is almost 2 years to the day from Metroid Prime 3, wow that was fast... Well at least it means Retro Studios should be well in to their next masterpiece :)
[QUOTE="mitu123"]Avoid the second one. It's horrible imo. It has to be one of the worst sequels of all time Well, coming off of what was arguably the best game last gen sure. But the game wasn't THAT bad! It's great actually.I played Metroid Prime 1, but not 2 and 3 yet, this is great news.

Totally disagree with you here, and I really hope your'e not saying that after NOT playing the game.
Prime 2 is very underrated in the way people view it, half of them have never even touched it but hear 'it just like Prime 1 but erm... its not good because you backtrack'. Well, ERM... you backtrack in every Metroid game, and pretty much every Metroid game is great. Trust me, Prime 2 is a worth it and this package is incredible value.

prime 2 is an excellent game. sure it doesn't do much different then the first one (or the third one), but it's still an excellent and awesome adventure game.
If I had a Wii I'd buy this but doesn't anyone else think this is overpriced?
You can get trilogies on the PS2 for $30 or less.

But the game wasn't THAT bad! It's great actually. I forced myself to beat it. I hated the entire dark world/light world aspect. It was basically the same except dark world had harder enemies while the overall locations were the same as light worlds. Also searching for those things to get to the final boss was so annoying. I didn't mind them in MP1 because I could easily tell where they were. There wasn't any sense of atmosphere which was important in MP1 and I didn't like the music which was good especially in the Magmoor Caverns (same as Norfair's from Super Metroid except with better sound) and Phendrana Drifts.I played Metroid Prime 1, but not 2 and 3 yet, this is great news.

Through it all I find myself thinking was this game made by different devs ?
MP had the best music and pacing of the 3! Miyamoto's magic for balance and design structure.Episode_EveMiyamoto was only a supervisor. He didn't design anything on MP.

But the game wasn't THAT bad! It's great actually. I felt the first game left such high expectations after how amazing it was, the second seemed disappointing. Frankly, I feel the only arguments I had against the game were it's terrible idea to implement ammo into the game. It felt like to me it was just limiting, and to be frank I missed my weapons like Plasma and Wave Beam from the first game :( but it wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed MP 2 quite a lot, but I will say it's the lowest of the three in terms of which one I enjoyed with MP 1 and MP 3 being nearly tied, but MP 1 still is superior IMO cause MP 3 felt a little like "Halo" and you had less of a feeling of being alone whereas MP 1 just nailed the atmosphere.I played Metroid Prime 1, but not 2 and 3 yet, this is great news.

Nintendo's answer to Orange Box, and it's a damn good answer.Next-Gen-TecI wonder if the game's MP mode in MP 2 will be more enjoyable. I think the reason it sucked so much was cause you could lock-on to people thus elminating any skill. MP H was a fun game on the DS, and showed Metroid MP could be fun, but MP 2 was limited due to controls. I'm not saying it should play like "Halo" or anything but it seems like it could be fun now or at least more fun than on the GC. :P Also... is it me or are these forums screwy again? While typing in the quick quote/reply if I push space or backspace it acts like my cursor isn't in the textfield and then it jumps down like if I pushed Space in the browser, or it goes back like I pushed Backspace without being in a textfield... :|

Completely agree. But you know the only ammo was for missiles which were used in conjunction with beams and bombs as well for super weapons! You always had to scavenge for missles in the Metroid series. Still perfect :P.
