Not even Halo 3/The Sims/SMG/GT1-4 or any other game has ever sold 1 million in 1 day. I expect the PS3 will have about 8 million consoles out by the time MGS4 comes out. I'll even say that MGS4 will move 500.000 console in it's first weekend but I wouldn't hold my breath on it moving a mill in a day.

Not to mention,

Not every PS3 owner will buy MGS4.

Like I said, PS3 gamers, unlike PS2 gamers last gen, dont have much to play right now. I was mainly trying to kill off that stupid MGS 4 goes to 360 if it dosent sell 1 Million day 1 rumor.

Yes, but there aren't that many Metal Gear Solid fans who own a PS3 that will ensure that 1 million will sell on the first day.

That's pushing it. Did Super Mario Galaxy even sell a million copies on the first day? The Metal Gear Solid series is no where in popularity when it comes to the Mario franchise. majadamus

Not true. The Mario franchise is more popular to the young generations. The MGS franchise is popular to teens+. Obviously, there're more teens and adults in the world.

No. Uncharted is pretty good, although it's clone of GeoW, but still pretty good unless you think every AA games are unworthy of playing. If you do, I truly feel sad for you.

No. Uncharted is pretty good, although it's clone of GeoW, but still pretty good unless you think every AA games are unworthy of playing. If you do, I truly feel sad for you.

You shouldn't feel sad for anyone, and if you were here long enough you would know I was joking. As for AA games being unworthy, I actually agree with that. I'm in school and not working right now so I can't go and spend money on every game that looks good. I'll wait a couple years until prices go down or buy them used.

Not where I live, jobs suck to begin with (low pay) and I'm not risking my marks since it's only a couple grand a year to pay for school. Besides if I worked than that would be less time to play games.

I see...I have it pretty good living in Maine--a lot of rich folks coming here for boating/fishing and all I have to do is move their stuff in to their enormous boats. I get about 16 dollars per hour plus huge tips from the rich people.

It won't. None of the MGS4 games sold a million copies on day one. Both the PS1 and PS2 had well over 50 million PS3 in gamers homes when they were released. There are only 6 million PS3 sold so far and I doubt 1/6 of these gamers will run out and buy MGS4 on day one.

I might get a PS3 when MGS 4 comes out, in 2009

until the first good game on the PS3 comes out (MGS4), ill stick with my 360.
