MGS 4 IS possible on the 360

Look, first I'm going to say this. I am not a 360 fanboy, in fact I own all 3 systems but I'm sick of Sony fanbboys saying that MGS 4 is not possible to come out on the 360. In fact it's very possible. Sure it would be 5 discs, but think about it, swapping discs in between acts is better than waiting 2 minutes for it to install between every act(in fact I think it would have been better on the PS3 if it was like that). They could even make a sperate disc solely for MGO. Now I don'twant people giving me crap like Halo is more likely to come out on the PS3. It's not. Halo is owned by Microsoft, MGS is not owned by Sony. I'm not saying it's going to happen, just that it might and it is possible.

If you cut out the movies, MGS4 could be probably be ported to a Sega Dreamcast Disc.

It's funny really...the last YEAR had debates on wether MGS4 would be on 360 or not.....and now the biggest sony 3rd part exclusive(bigger than MGSIV itself) has been announced on 360..when even the 360 fans didnt' expect it. LOL.

Then you'd understand that there are things in the game that makes it unlikely for 360 to get a port of MGS4.

Throw in Resistance 2, Gran Turismo 5, Socom, and Killzone 2 while you're at it!

Be reasonable. MGS4 sold well on the PS3, it isn't getting ported.

If you removed all of the alternate audio tracks and assuming all the audio is some super uncompressed 24-bit/96khZ, if you dropped it down to normal game audio standards, you could probably fit it all on 3-4 DVDs.

I never said it'd happen anytime soon, and if it is ever going to come out on the 360, it will probably be a sub****** remake.

True. I would have liked that. It would have reminded me of MGS1, and it would have brought back good memories

Yes is is possible on the 360 anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't know what the hell their talking about. I don't think it would be 5-6 discs either at max your looking at it being 4 most likely 3. The reason why it takes so much disc space on Blu-Ray is because A. Uncompressed Sound and B. Uncompressed Cinemas. Game companies compress sound and cinemas all the time in an Mpeg or another type of video encoded file.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is on of my favorite games of all time right now and even if it went to 360 you'd still be getting the same general experience although it would be slightly inferior with lower resolution cinemas and more compressed sound effects.

The fact of the matter is that it won't because you know Sony locked down Konami hard on the exclusivity of the game itself for at least 4 years lol. So if you want to experience it buy a PS3.

If Microsoft pays Kojima a large sum of money, similar to what they have done with Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and every other formarly PS3 exclusive, I'm sure they'd get MGS4 on 360, even if it took 20 discs. MS's most recent payment was Rockband to have 2-month 360 exclusivity, and they also attempted to pay to have 2 months of RE5 exclusivity.

Sony needs to learn how to pointlessly pay people for exclusivity, because that's whats making MS succeed on the gaming front. If sony doesn't start now, then I don't care whether its the PS3, PS4, or PS10, they'll fail.
