its always the same ! people choose one of those thinks that exist in there game and say it looks the best BUT what do you think is the most important too let your game looks like the most epic ?

i read somewhere yesterday in the MGS4 preview on ign, the editor did say MGS4 rivals Crysis as far as graphics is concerned. Take it for whats its worth. If that editor that beat MGS4 says it rivals Crysis i cant wait to play this on June 12.Gamersince81

Thats not what i read.. Looking at the photo it barely looks worse than Crysis imo!!! It probably does look better than most rigs that run Crysis.. Remember, im going by that photo that the TS posted.. It looks amazing.

Then dont compare Crysis to any other pc game either as MGS4 looks far better then most pc games coming this year.

Im so sick of people saying this. Hermits stop acting like Crysis on max settings represents what pc graphcs look like. MGS4 utterly stomps most pc games out or coming out give it a rest. Crysis on max settings running at a playable framerate is being done on a very small percentage of gaming pc's.

Im sorry but MGS4 stomps Cod4 from a visual standpoint . The only new screenshots were taken from a tv screen( hence the poor quality) all in all MGS4 is far more impressive then Cod4.

I am very excited for MGS4, however, i do not believe that MGS4 will rival Crysis, the only game that might ever challenge it is either Gears of War 2 or Uncharted 2 based on the 1st games graphicsps3_4_eva

if anything, its project offset right now, but hardly anything is known about it.

Look MGS4 OBVIOUSLY doesn't look better, but in terms of character models and how smooth they look, including the ammount of things going on on, screen...its impressive. the previews state this and there minds were blown at just how good SOME things look.

Crysis, due to the PC's ability to update graphics cards and be up to date...can and of course and will look better than any console game...geez.

Um im sorry but I disagree there. Snakes character model along with some of the main charcters look as good if not better then most characters in Crysis. How many times do they use the Same Korean? Not to mention Crysis may have massive open levles but thers really never any massive battles going on. The battles in MGS4 look far more chaotic even though the actually scale of the area is smaller.

Farcry 2 does not look as good, nor will it look like that on Consoles (big duh their)

and their is not a single area in which MGS4 rivals crysis graphiclly.

-and yes I realize that future Consoles will have better graphics, that kinda adds nothing to this discussion since Im sure no one is even trying to dispute that.

I disagree with you here. IMO I believe that crysis has the best charater model in gaming. I do agree with you that they do use the same Korean model over and over again.

I'll disagree on both counts, as for massive encounters of enemies there are actually many in the after the first mission.
