Maybe because MGS1 is already on PSN and Twin Snakes might still be on a contract between Silicon Knights/Nintendo. Who knows, I wondered the same thing.

They did not want to waste time porting over a game that would still look like crap because of the primitve 3D technology used when that game was created.

Yeah, disappointed no Peace Walker on there, but already got it on PSP and the hd collection. Hey, at least a playable portable version of MGS 3. Unlike the garbage 3DS version. :cool:

The biggest concern i have is: are the trophies shared? Does this mean if i buy it on Vita i can't get seperate trophies again? D:

of course there is going to be bias depending on the person who is a ps3 or 360 or ninty fanboy....fact is...many think MGS3D is best version.

I would still happily take the Vita's 2 games for the same price as the 3DS's one game. Though it may end up that it is just the Japanese release that is missing Peace Walker anyway.

i heard the framrate of MGS 2 on HD collection is garbage compared to ps2 version.

The frame rate is perfect on for all MGS games on the HD collection

Best bet is to still go for the console version.
