Let me rephrase what everyone posted so you can understand. METAL GEAR SOLID ISN'T A FRANCHISE OWNED BY SONY! So publishing a game for the Xbox 360 isn't sleeping with the enemy.

You are making absolutely no sense. The first FOUR major releases in the series were not exclusive to a Sony console. Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake were around before Sony was even in the console market... and Metal Gear Solid, the first major ground-breaker/shaker in the series wasn't even exclusive to the PlayStation.
Metal Gear Solid is as much a "Sony" franchise as Banjo Kazooie is a "Microsoft" franchise.
in other news I cant wait for this game. I hope it keeps the fantastic stealth elements of MGS4 and Peacewalker yet adds some kick ass stealth kills and action with raiden.

Out of that list, only MGS3 and 4 are exclusive to Sony consoles, not counting the handheld games... Like others have said, MGS is not published by Sony, and just because it has appeared mostly on Sony consoles does not mean it is exclusive to the Playstation or owned by Sony. If that was the case, Snake would have never been a character in SSBB, or Twin Snakes wouldn't be on the GC, etc.
:O C64 version of Metal Gear?....i didn't know there was a c64 version. I had to see what the c64 version was like, tried it out on winvice and hated it....a port of the nes version, i'll stick to the MSX versions

Unfortunately developers have to prioritize other things, such as stockholders, an expanded user base and revenue, over your suggestion that MGSR should be a PS3 exclusive since "it shouldn't be on xbox." because "look at how little xbox mgs games there are".
