Rising is a spin-off and not MGS5. Kojima recently stated that if Peace Walker was on consoles it would be MGS5.

Metal Gear Solid was never a first party franchise for Sony neither was Final Fantasy.

Adding MGS:Peace Walker to mix not makes Rising look not in good postion. For me Rising was annouce to early, it's like MS buy annoucment just too make MGS4 hungry (by the time) lemmings happy. Ofcorse i gonna buy game whatever it's gonna be, i'm MGS fan

Amazing how everyone is saying this isn't a MGS game when in interviews Kojima himself said its going to still be Stealth Action so its not going to be a hack and slash. Even if you do have your sword there will be some catch to using it in the game. Plus since your using Raiden you won't have Octocamo which is another major plus since it made MGS4 way way to easy.

Also for everyone saying Kojima isn't going to be involved your wrong. He said he wouldn't be "as" involved as in previous titles. He is giving his Koji Pro team a chance to make their own take on the franchise since they are the future of the company. Long after Kojima is gone there will still be MGS games being released so he is letting them get practice under their belt.

Sony lovers just need to get over the fact that Kojima likes all the consoles not just one........ If more people would just buy all the consoles there wouldn't be so much fanboyism.

And no, MGS isn't really exclusive to sony. Twis Snakes was on the GC, and MGS2 i'm pretty sure came out on the xbox.
