Nintendo had MGS first. MGS was also on PC as well when it was on the ps1.

Nintendo never really had real Metal Gear until the port of MGS3. It had a bastardized version of it on the NES and while the gamecube remake of MGS1 looked cool, they kind of ruined some of the cutscenes by poorly redubbing them and going overboard with the cutscenes while toning down the difficulty a bit too much.

Better is subjective if the game runs fine and looks great already to most if not everyone already.

The game runs at 60fps....theres NO need to boast about having a game run at 120fps when it already runs at 60....NO ONE could tell the difference.

Also....it runs great....as in I found no slowdown and no bugs....theres not really anymore you could ask for.

Aside from higher texture resoltions and better light and/or shadow quality....theres nothing more that the PC version will get....PLUS....as I said....it alraedy looks fantastic...so not everyone needs those extra bells and whistles to get their rocks off.

So what you're saying is it doesn't matter if the PC ver has better textures or lighting because the game will look almost as good on the PS4? Yet if we were to exclude the PC version Cows would be all over this board bragging about having the best version.

Overclock your monitor (even a few hz will help with tearing), cap the framerate, use v-sync or adaptive v-sync, g-sync, disable or reduce pre-rendered frames if it's enabled in the game.

PC always has so many tweaks.

Going on what evidence? There's no information on what the PC version will be like. The pop-in on the PS4 version is instantly noticeable. Foliage, shadows, objects and terrain have noticeably short draw range on them. Things like that could be tweakable in a menu and if not, people might find a way. Then there's modifications like injecting post processing into the game.

Exactly . The initial demo and hospital escape demo that ran on PC looked a lot better . PS4 gameplay video shows lot of low res shadows and pop ins . However , I won't deny that the game still looks very impressive . Better draw distance , shadow quality and a bit enhanced textures will be more than enough for me (And support for proper ratios) .

It's easy to say I'm jelly and other stupid shit...but the fact is...no matter what tweaks the PC has....and has to have in order to draw ppl to the PC....b/c we all know that it ain't the games.....it still looks good and is exactly what most ppl need and/or want.

I swear the only game anyone of you PC guys talk about is Star Citizen. Shit man....I thought you guys were hardcore...but it's never about the games with PC....it's about the shit you can do with it.

Lots of ppl are fine with not being able to tweak MGS V....saying the PC is the better version is just subjective. I would literally have to play the PC version in order to think it was better....and god only knows if the port will be worth a dam...but I'm not.

I'll play it on the PS4 b/c it's coming there first....I don't feel like waiting and waiting....and waiting....and waiting like you guys did for GTA V. Shit man....by that time you'll be able to buy the game for dirt cheap on console so it still won't be justified. And when it's on a Steam Sale for $10 4 months later b/c no one bought it b/c games don't sell as well on PC....yeah....I'll buy it then and say "Wow....it really does look good."

But I stil won't think it's better....b/c my first experience was a long time ago when I first would have played it on my PS4.

News flash man...most if not all of the PC gamers on this board owns atleast one console. hell many people are double dipping with GTA5 and are just waiting for the PC version to take advantage of mods.

It's great news, but I am a bit perturbed because I spent about 60 hours getting an S rank on all the missions on PS4, and don't know if I can make the same investment all over again to reap the benefits on PS4.

There were like 3 threads on the first page talking about SC graphics last night/yesterday. Other than in an argument about good RPGs no one ever mentions Divinity. NO console sits there and lurks at SC and goes on and on and on and on...about that ONE game....like you guys do.
