MGS4 coming to other platforms

That or perhaps I didn't understand his point or the translation was fu**** up. Hell it wouldn't be the first time. It's definitely good news that he is thinking of moving to new territory. Something other than series that he has established already.

Kojima is talking about FUTURE games not MGS4 coming to other platforms. As for 360 owners saying substance i believe that all extra stuff if there is any will be added through downloadable content like the new maps for Metal Gear Online theres no need for a newer version...

He has said this so many times MGS$ IS NOT COMING TO THE 360.

I think Kojima thought Gamespot was asking about the MGS franchise in general not MGS4. He even goes on in the interview to say that there are aspects of MGS4 that are only possible on the PS3 and that the projects was "so vast that it required a 50GB Blu-ray disc". The only time him and Konami will consider a port is if it bombs on the PS3, which is very unlikely.

ive seen lems do it aswell so its not so "one sided" wel gears 2 is a big game for 360 this year nd another exclusive, so of course fan boys will put down 360 owners if or when it goes to pc, i remember when the first gears went to pc fanboys went mad

I've heard the interview and it's just like how the other interviews went. Kojima says something ambiguous leading you to believe he may have it on his mind and then says something vague about how it'd prove too difficult. Let it be production costs from when Gametrailers asked him or now resources in the game that only the PS3 can handle. You'll never get a straight answer. Either because it's his personality that he usually draws on or he'd rather not make a scene like many developers do.

Plus, if he brings a new franchise to the Xbox 360, I'm sure he'd like to come in welcomed hands. Not angry fans who wanted MGS4 so bad and were denied right up front. Though I think it'd be more polite to let people down easy instead of teasing here and there.

Use a gamepad. I get tired of seeing how most pc players expect everything to play with a k & m. I'm a PC gamer and I will be the first to say that the k & m is superior in some genres while weaker in other ones. A game like mgs would play better with the gamepad. No excuse not owning one if you have a PC.

All of Konami's ports have been pretty good. So you are wrong, unlike the 360 PC is a open end platform. It makes the game being superior nearly inevitable. Now like I mentioned before indirectly, there are some ports that suffer. This is mainly because its a rushed port and not optimized. I haven't seen Konami do that. Silent Hill 3, 4 and MGS 1 and 2 played beautifully on my machines.

Back when MGS2 came out on the PC, gamepads were not as prominent as they are these days. I remember when a decent Sidewinder gamepad costed around £40.

They have always been available, what are you talking about? When gamepads on consoles evolved(getting rumble and analogs) so did the PC gamepads. In fact with MGS2 came out I was using a Nyko airflow(?). Its basically a ps2 style dual analog gamepad. And cost $24.
