The trailer shown during the Press Conference looked just a little too Japanime to me. All the jumping up and down on the other guys chest etc. was just cheesy.

Downloading the trailer now off the PSN. This game is going to own. And I don't get why people are still questioning its exclusivity. Look at the facts. No mention of it at the MS who. And Kojima himself introduced the trailer at Sony's show. That just screams aloud that MGS4 is PS3 only. And we get the demo next week. Excitement!

Yeah I just read about that. I must have missed it while I was watching the press conference. I didn't see the entire thing, but I did catch the trailer at the end. Whoa hawt. Lookin good. Just hope it plays great too.
I'm glad the debate over exclusiveness is cleared up... although you have to wonder why they would make an announcement mere days before E3. Maybe a sick joke? Anyway, I was hoping for it to be unveiled at the Microsoft press conference, just to see the boards erupt into complete chaos... oh well.

I don't know... But the trailer got me thinking as well... I mean olgas chields life depends on Raiden right? However in the trailer he doesn't seem to be preoccupied about it... I mean stabbing a sword and all in himself.
I wonder if the use of the word immortal has anything to do with it... Maybe that suit provides him with everything he needs, maybe hes dead? And yet alive :lol: ... Maybe hes just immortal... Maybe olgas chield is already dead? Meh who the hell knows anyway :lol:

Maybie he's dead and that suit generates special magnetic (or radioactive) waves that keep his mind and body alive.
Man I love how MGS always gets me all confused about the story, I hate simple games that draw everything out for you, I like to get confused and have to find things out, I love MGS because of this, it´s truly entertaining, like a interactive movie with a very good story, and very good characters, setting and so on. This game alone made me get a ps3.

That seems to be the common theory. His Gray Fox-style exoskeleton hints that he may already be dead. Also, his pale complexion hints at artificial (or no) blood circulation.
