K guys, to clear a few things up for you.

1. That is most likely Raiden in the mask and sunglasses.

2. Raiden doesn't get affected by the FOX-DIE thing because he's dead. Kojima said in an interview awhile back that the only parts of Raiden that are still his own real body are his head and his spine, the rest are cyborg parts that are grafted onto his body. Even his blood has been fake since the beginning of MGS2.

3. That is Naomi in the helicopter that's picking Liquid up.

4. The gameplay demo will be shown 1 week from now at Kojima's own personal MGS 20th anniversary party.

I still say raiden. I watched the HD vid again and that guy has white hair sticking out. Hes probably wearing glasses because he doesnt want to be known.

Yeah I thought it was Raiden as well... But it seems I didn't catch that interview.

Anyway, his blood has been fake since the beginning of MGS2? Can you elaborate on that, did kojima elaborate on that? Was that in any way present in MGS2 plot? If yes then that is one thing that I definitely missed...

If Johnny as in Johnathan from MPO I doubt it but I could of sworn before I jumped in the forums and watched it there was a part at about the middle when I thought I heard someone say Johnathan.

Well, it's been awhile since i played MGS2. But somewhere near the beginning of the Big Shell, the colonel says something about Raiden having all his blood replaced with artificial white blood and that is why he is so pale.

When I was watching the RE5 trailer during MS conference, I thought it was MGS4 at first, so I yelled "OMG MGS4 ON 360 CONFIRMED!!!"
then it occurred to me that it was RE5, and I let out a sigh of reliefm0rphl1ng

Yep, for the first seconds, it looked just like the MGS4 setting to me.

Did you watch Sony's conference? It was really stressed by Kojima himself how this game is only going to be on the PS3.

Unfortunately for Sony, Kojima is not the head of Konami, and what they say goes, unless he wants to find another publisher, which would be unthinkable. I hope I am not coming across as a troll, if I am I apologize.imrlybord7

Let me explain it a little better for you. Konami are the publishers, Kojima Productions are the producers. Now, if the production team only makes the game as a PS3 game, then Konami can't publish it as a 360 game now can they? Kitaue just keeps pushing Kojima to put it on 360 and Kojima keeps saying no because he knows they can't fire him. If they fire him, him and his team just go to a different publisher and probably give him more money to make games because they know how popular he is and how much money he could potentially make for their company. Konami alsoknows that Kojimais going to make them a lot more money in the future so they will never fire him, allowing him to decide whether it's staying on PS3 alone or not. Capiche?

No. Kojima has the final say as it is Kojima Productions who is making the game. Konamiis only publishing it. HK has the final say...

If you don't believe me, ask him for yourself. I live next door to him.

Its official 360 owners. Its on the PS3 only and what are 360 fanboys saying? Even if the parent company wanted it on the 360 the director won't program it on the 360 so it would be crap on 360 anyway.

Lemmings and sheep REALLY gotta stop listening to what KONAMI says about MGS4 and more to what KOJIMA says about MGS4. Half the time when a legit source says multiplatform in the same sentence as MGS4....the lemmings and sheeps go insane.

They forget that Hideo Kojima is in full control of HIS (keyword) game.

In the trailer, Raiden (If is him with the mask on.) Goes over to one of his fallen commrades and says "Jonnathon" Mabye Johney does return. But hes not guarding the prision.

But why would Raiden be waring a uniform with a gun, isnt he a cyborg ninja now? Mabye that scene is before he becomes a cyborg.

That's not true. Kojima Productions is just one of many development teams within Konami, and it is the brass at Konami that have the final say since they are the ones publishing the game, NOT Kojima.

That is most likely Raiden, but that Jonathon is just some other Jonathon who happens to be white and have a mohawk. And I doubt the guy who pisses his pants in every game and gets knocked out is gonna be one of the main members of FOX Hound. And ya, that's either before Raiden turns cyborgy or they did a really good job of getting that Balaclava on.

That's not true. Kojima Productions is just one of many development teams within Konami, and it is the brass at Konami that have the final say since they are the ones publishing the game, NOT Kojima.

Check the official Konami website again, http://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/event2007/index-en.html . The 20th anniversary party is on the 24th, not the 17th. But I too heard Kojima say the demo would be next week...so now we wait for someone to clarify this to us.

that trailer was awsome. i don't know about yall but i'm glad they pushed it back so they can make it just right. I'm tired of people complaining about y they take too long with games, knowing that when developers rush it, it comes out like crap then people complain about how it looks and plays. I know the wait will be worth it in 08

The only disappointment I have is the visuals aren't as nice lookin' :(

I didn't really like the new trailer... mainly because there wasn't enough of it. Seriously. It whetted my appetite and then stopped. :(Funkyhamster

And who was that woman behind Liquid Ocelot? Was that Naomi? It was clearly Naomi in the chopper but that woman behind Liquid Ocelot looked a little different.
