[QUOTE="HAZE-Unit"] OMG, how many times are we gonna talk about MGS4? it is the console graphic king.
I have to disagree with you on this, don't forget to click on the last comment. :)
Gamespot on MGS4 :"Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the most technically stunning video game ever made. It's also a fine example of storytelling prowess within its medium, combining gameplay and narrative so slickly and beautifully that it's impossible to extricate one from the other. It's likely you will emerge awestruck from your first play-through, wishing the experience would continue yet nonetheless satisfied with its conclusion. It's difficult not to sound hyperbolic when discussing MGS4 because every part of its design seemingly fulfills its vision, without compromise. There is no halfway. "

IGN on MGS4:"It's apparent that Guns of the Patriots squeezes every pixel possible out of the PS3 and renders them beautifully. As a result, players are witnesses to one of the finest games ever created on any console or PC. Character models are large and impressively rendered in real time, and transitions between cutscenes and gameplay are seamless and natural. What's more, certain action sequences are just as sharp and framed as well as many Hollywood action movies."

They are the biggest two sites in the gaming industry and they both agree on MGS4's graphical prowess and they both scored 10 so yes, MGS4 is the best there is so far and it gives you the impression of Hollywood movies.
ToScA-
I don't see the point of continuously posting that over and over again. That right there is the opinions of two separate revieweres, two individuals, now..care to explain to me how their opinion is somehow more valuable than the opinion of any other gamer?
The only game that I haven't seen in close-up yet or played is Uncharted.
Yes, Metal Gear Solid 4 does look fantastic, especially in the character model area. However comparing it to games such as Mass Effect in that very area it's quite a toss up between the two and imonot such a gargantuan difference as those reviewers claim. The lightning and especially the environmental texture in MGS 4 are also not quite as impressive as I had been lead to think till I finally got to play the game.
IGN and Gamespot are not Gods, their word is not law, they are each a batch of gaming journalist that excel in expressing their opinions concerning different games. The reasons as to why they are highly respected is because they tend to generally write great and satisfactory reviews as well as providing excellent coverage on games. Another source of high regard may be simply due to the nature of their scoring and how well these scores of particuar games match the opinions of quite a large group of gamers; one of the main reasons as to why I was attracted to Gamespot in the first place. They handed out scores that I myself found to be a realistic grade of how I myself would score the reviewed game in question. Thus I use these sites merely as guidance; and quite often their opinions and my opinions do not exactly match; this is a particular case.
I played the game and made my own judgement, what IGN, Gamespot or X gaming site/magazine says is moot.
And as someone previously mentioned opinions are not equivalent to fact.
Let me put it this way, if someone is wrong and I have to prove that, how could I possibly do it without any proof?
If all they say "it is my own opinion" and "your opinion doesn't matter", then how could I possibly debate with such a silly individual.
I've provided my own opinion on the game with deep explanation why it is the best at graphics, nobody explained why MGS4 graphics are worse than other games including you, I've also provided two of the most respected opinions on the gaming industry and a poll that is declared the console graphics king, if someone disagree with all of this then he/she is blind.
