MGS4 is coming to the 360? Maybe

I don't know why but the name Xboxfamily cracks me up.

Well, yeah I guess it's pretty much confirmed. Not that strange if you think about it..MGS never really stays PS exclusive permanently.

MGS1 went to PC
MGS2 went to PC and Xbox
not sure about MGS3
There's said to be a MPO coming out on the DS

there ya have it, ownage; confirmed. MGS4 = multiplat. A great game gained by the lems, nothing lost by the cows. Of course, we get to play it first by 1 year...I'll just be really ticked if the 360 version gets extra content for being behind by a year...even updated graphics would grind my gears, but hey that's just me...having only a wii and PS3 makes me a bit jealous to have one of our finest games ported.

No its not, stop getting my hopes up, and just let it go and let me buy a PS3 and play MGS 4.

why are people so desperate for MGS4 to come to other consoles? The producers, director and creater of the game said no but you still try and bring this crap up over and over again.

That has as much credibility as psu.com reporting that Gears of War 2 is exclusive to PS3.

I really wish all these rumors about MGS4 coming to 360 would end. I could care less if it did or not but hearing a new rumor posted every week is really annoying.

seriously...can u imagine MS just coming out and saying "Yeah, the 2 biggest games of 2008/2009 are not going to be on the X360. So if you want to play these game, you will have to buy a PS3!" Heck if there was a rumor of Uncharted being on X360 MS would just respond by saying:

same here. Articles like the above are the reason why I laugh whenever someone says MGS4 won't move units. Yeah, people aren't really that interested save for the MGS faithful out there yet anytime one of these articles pops up it gets major attention. Just fork up the 400 and change if you want to play the game. It's exclusive. Konami, Hojima, and Sony have told you all a billion times already.

Hmm, well after reading the article, I find that it has little to no plausible merit. First of all the guy won't name his source, meaning that a) the whole article could be fake or b) the "distribution rep" felt like having a little fun with the media and spreads rumors about the game, but won't use his real name for fear that the company will reprimand him. Furthermore, Kojima, the actual guy making the game, and fairly high up in the company itself, having been former vice president, has stated at least a dozen times that it's exclusive and frankly i trust him a little more than some out of the way xbox fanboy site, trying to get some attention. A Konami rep even stated back at TGS "We currently have no plans to bring MGS4 to the Xbox 360......for now"

I'll take a Konami reps word over one of the BIGGEST developer Sony fanboys ever...

Anyone who truely doesn't think this will happen is terribly blind and needs to come to grips with reality. Konami's concerned about the profit this game will generate and by NOT having it on the 360, their profits gained from MGS4 would be 50% less (or possibly even greater).

Time to grow up cows and realize that 3rd parties won't be keeping games exclusive on the PS3. It's just a terrible business move.
