Thats all these lemmings bring up when u ask for there graphical powerhouse game, gears>> every ps3 game. Man go watch the mgs4 gameplay footage on gametrailers and u will see that mgs4>>>gears and any other 360 game. The ps3 has only been out for 8 months and look at the graphics it is generating. At this rate if third party devs use the ps3 hardware to its capability's, games will easilly look better on the ps3. I own an xbox 360 and a ps3, but I aint a blind fanboy to see when graphics and gameplay on a certain game such as mgs4 surpasses anything I seen on the xbox 360. If not then prove me wrong. :)squallff8_fan

Ya, Mass Effects blurriness never really appealed to me. It may have really detailed faces (which is constantly likes to show off) butMGS4's graphics look much clearer and crisper with much more going on in the actual game. I think the first MGS4 gameplay pic easily looks better than the first Mass Effect Gameplay pic. And the 2nd comparison pictures is debatable of which looks better since one just shows a face and if you just focus on that then look at Snake, Snake looks better.

Man talk all the trash u want but the truth is gears won those awards because it didnt have any next gen games to go up against it. Wanna try an put it against MGS4, I bet u dont because we all would know who would win. :P

i havent seen the video that your talking about yet, but so far, all the vids on this game have been some really incredible looking cg, which i really dont count for anything. we've been fooled tooo many times by "really good cg" then the gameplay quality is blahh. anywayz, i hope some actuall gameplay footage comes out, cause other consoles have some really nice gameplay graphics going right now.jazreal

Didn't know they priced the game at $600, did you know Ratchet and Clank: ToD was $600 too!? I'll stick to the $60 games :).

Its graphics are like 10 times better than Gears even though Gears is a better game overall Oblivion looks beautifulu only have to leave the sewers at the beginning to know what i mean and anyone who has will agree its one of the best looking games out right now and its from MARCH!!!

No, I know what you said, you did say you didn't watch the new trailer and were basing your argument on old impressions ,but seriously with the gameplay shots shown, trying to bring down the game and calling it CG compared to other games .comes off as a weak argument and it's backfiering a lot of ppl who did the same before.

WOW ive play both oblivions(360/ps3) and Gears DEMOLISHES that in every graphical way(lighting, animations ect.). The TWO things that i can think of that oblivion beats Gears at is scale and story(but that has nothing to do with graphics)

graphically its not there yet, but in kojima we trust lol seriously though i have a feeling Mass effect will still have better character models utimately, i could be proved wrong, but nothing other than crysis was wowed me that much.

the game is beautiful (oblivion) but you have to admit, the textures on the banks around the lake look like crap, like someone has been calling non stop artillery strikes on it. My friends thought it looked like crap as soon as i got out of the sewers. Then i showed them the forest and draw distance, they changed their minds pretty quick.

I was very skeptical at first but after downloading the HD version that i found at gametrailers i can now say with all my gaming experience, that this is the greatest looking game ever made... i have never seen this level of graphic and sound detail and it is almost mindblowing.I cannot even fathom where games will go next year, sorry Halo i still love you but i have made my decision... PS3 for me.

it looks REAL great. but alot of upcoming games do. the visuals are just good enough to be really immersive.

there are some texture issues in the surroundings, and i rather play at 60fps than at 3ofps, but the game looks great.

If the game was coming to 360, do you think the xbox fans would still bash the texture and other negatives?

Actualy some do, but then if they really loved the series they wouldn't of braught the 360... Its kind of a no-brainer if you ask me; people buy consoles for the games they love to play so telling people that they crave for a game thats not on their console that they have nown about for years already isnt really going to achieve a thing unless your looking for some damage control for things your missing out on.
