It's a coincidence probably too...but I was just telling my buddy, Chadwick Reginald P. Gooberwinkler not even a fortnight ago that 5,000,000 :shock: (FIVE Freakin' Million:o ) is a very depressing number with regards to anything...what a small world.:lol:

I must confess, having one of the best Blu-Ray players on the market is a huge plus, for HDTV owners. I can understand their dilemma.;)

The 360 has a tie ratio of ~8.8, on 38.7 million consoles sold, indicating 340.6 million units of software moved over a period of 4.25 years, or roughly 80.1 million software units per year since launch.

The PS3 has a tie ratio of ~7.6, on 33.5 million consoles sold, indicating 256.4 million units of software moved over a period of 3.25 years, 2.75 years in Europe, so an average 3 years, or roughly 84.9 million software units per year since launch.

Only 5mil copies sold? I not as big as I would expect it to be, especially for a best selling game.

MGS4 still have many haters, it has been 2 years, and yet lemmings are still willing to pay anything to have it on their x360.

Good sales for a good game. But they seriously need to give it trophies. I'd love just one more reason to go back and play that game!

Wasn't it already at 4.something million sold at the end of 2008? A few hundred thousand copies sold in a year is not so bad.

bought the limited edition midnight release and still own it in mint condition, you don't sell masterpieces like mgs4 if your a true gamer.

5 million is a really huge number and all, but compared to the Wii and 360's top selling games, it's a bit low... enterawesome

Resistance, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, inFamous, Haze, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, SOCOM, GT5P, Motorstorm, Motorstorm 2 etc. all sold 1 mil+ .

Awesome to see it do well. Still one of my best experiances this gen. Now may I please have trophies.

The best selling exclusive for the PlayStation 3 is from a 3rd party. Good stuff. It should certainly entice other developers. It's also nice to see that Sony has to compete for space on its own platform.
