And when you compare those "real million sellers"(I'm guessing Halo, Gears etc) to the "real million sellers" they fade in comparison, it's all relative.. what's your point?

Halo 3 broke records, heck even Wii Fit did, while MGS4 is still doing awesome but it's not that awesome.

Here's another website stating it was a million in sales, not shippings. Pretty impressive IMO.

Like I said these Lemmings weren't the only one doubting MGS4. Lots of hardcore Cows doubted and underhyped MGS4 in scores and sales. And it's just funny how the TC is singling out Lemmings like they were the only one that doubted. It's that simple really.

I wonder what kind of Achievments there will be on the 360 version....

1. MGS4 is not system seller..... Many MGS fans already have PS3
2. Konami really dig themself a hole with this MGS4 exclusivity
3. MGS4 will sales bad on PS3
4. NG2 will sales more than MGS2 because 360 have larger install base
5. MGS4 will not sales 1 million in day 1
6. MGS4 will flop in GS

In the playstation store.

Make a US account, I have 4 japan ccount, european account, and hong kong account. It lets me download things that would never come to the us store, but it still lets me use it on my normal account atfer the download, such as the lair demo from the hong kong store (which is in english so it's just the same). Also it only takes like 3 minutes to make one.

You ain't really saying nothing, like I said it's all relative, Halo can't hold a candle to The Sims, your point?
Fact is MGS4 not only proved all doubters(mostly lemmings) wrong, but got 10s on a lot of places and is probably the best game this gen, if you look at scores only GTA 4 is on the same level, and I think most would agree that GTA 4 was overrated as hell, most people think MGS4 deserves its score.

Nobody ever said it sold more than Halo 3 so why even bring it up? You can always pull out another game that sold more(well, almost always).
But when you do all of a sudden sales don't matter, hell when it suits fanboys not even scores matter, yet everybody bring them up when it suits them.. the hypocrisy.

You can say whatever you want, most people wouldn't hesitate to call you a rabid fanboy.

You can tell their starved of games, one decent one pops along and they scream BEST GAME THIS GEN, despite this gen not being over and them not actually having played every game this gen.

I fail to see why MGS4 is so highly rated. Admittedly I'm only on Act 2 right now, but it seems like 1) gameplay plays pretty much like any other 3rd per shooter this generation 2) the cut-scenes are long and boring 3) all the damn enemies are heavily near-sighted

You do know that the other PS3 exclusives Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, R&C (Not sure here), Resistance & Motorstorm have also sold a million copies right? Also it's not only cows saying this game is the best yet this gen, alot of multi system owners are also.

Edit: This is the first major game to come for the PS3 and it selling that much in one region alone is cause for cows to give praise. They don't care if other systems have games that have done it.
