MGS4 will win GOTY no doubt about it.

Honestly I don't think any other game here on gamespot has a chance besides GTA4.

MGS4 has the most nominations too, 7 I think.

I haven't heard anyone talk about it anymore, it was monstrously overated.

If there is one game out there that truely deserves it, it should be MGS4. With LBP behind.

It should either be MGS4 or LBP IMO.

On one hand there's the finale to one of my favorite series and the other is a new IP which blew me away.

MGS4's long and pointless cutscenes (I love the story but some things were just constantly repeated and others were parts that we could've played rather than watch) and constant load times make LBP a more enjoyable experience in my eyes. However MGS4 exceeded in so many things I would not mind seeing it win either.

This game really is a rare spectacle. The story, emotion that it gives you is so powerful. This is the only game that you actually care for the characters (including all MGS games).

Everything is so well-crafted together, mixed with the astounding presentation and graphics (I mean c'mon the graphics are in my opinion console graphics king).

Everything, Kojima and his team made a masterpiece.

Can't wait for MGS5!

If MGS4 wasn't delayed and came out last year, I think it would have had a better chance of getting GOTY but unfortunately there's this juggernaut of a game called GTAIV keeping other games this year at bay.

MGS4 is a little overrated like GTA 4.

Well since 85% of the story is back story to past Metal Gear games, I think he's right. I mean it's like watch the last part of a trilogy, yes it's cool but it doesn't really make sense.
