Maybe that would be best. The current story arc should just be left as it is, another game would just add more retcons and not a lot of room for creativity as Peace Walker showed. I'd like it to be set way after 4 with Snake mentioned as being dead.
I really enjoyed MGS 4 but I cant see where the story can go from here. I would still welcome a MGS 5 although I think it could be the start of a new journey ala Halo 4 starting a new trilogy.
