MGSO = Best online game ever

MGSO is the best online game I have ever played.

There isn't a current online game that touches this game. It has everything. It's lag free (due to the dedicated servers), it has stealth, the shooting is spot on, etc.

And then they have cool stuff that no other games have like man-cannons. Seriously, what other game has that, lol?

Everyone should play MGSO, it's the best online game.

But it is a lot of fun once you realize there's a lot more to it than just killing.

It is MGO fakeboy , but yes ..... it is one of the best console online games.

Okay, no we agree on something, mgo is trash. I really dont see how with all the online games out there that anyone can think this is a good game. I played for a hr giving it a good shot, and will never play it again. Gears is more fun and I have been playing that for 1 1/2 years.

The hassle of creating a Konami ID, Game ID, and downloading the 1.1 update are annoying. But we shouldn't judge the actual multiplayer features and fun factor because of that.

MGO is deep. It does everything you expect an online shooter to do and then some. They will nickle and dime us for extra maps and modes which is lame. It takes a bit to get familiar with MGO and everything it has to offer, but once you do it's amazing IMO.

Not the best though. It's also an acquired taste. You either like it or don't like it. People who like Socom usually like MGO from my experience.

BF2, BF2142, Counter Strike, TF2, COD4, Quake Wars, ArmA, COD4, Halo 3 heck classics like Tribes, Quake 3, UT ect. are better.

Its good yes, but nothing great or spectaular.

Sony's online game is Socom, I dont get this MGO/Resistance/Killzone BS. The socom games on the PS2 were great, they had excellent multiplayer as well as community.

Lol, PS3-only owners have:

- COD4
- Orange Box
- R6V2
- Ghost Recon: AW 2
- Resistance
- UT3 (exclusice for now)
- Battlefield: BC
- Warhawk
- MGO

I think they are more than happy (me included :)) with their available selection. With Socom: Confrontation, Resitance 2, and KZ2 (not proven yet) PS3 owners have much to look forward to in the near future.

and that konami ID is really retarded, you already spend like 15 minutes downloading the damn game, then you have to sign up for an ID....its stupidSaintsRowSam

I cant wait for SOCOM.

I only had 1 and 2 on the psp, but the online on that was amaozing for a handheld plus everyone used their mics.

It will be brewt to play a proper SOVOM game on the ps3. :)

mgs online is okay... but the aiming is soooo slow.. they need to loosen it up a little (yes i know you can increase sensitivity, but in 1st person you still aim too slowly).

Also, has anyone noticed that when you do automatching and ask for, say, "team deathmatch", quite often you just get "free for all" or something else... whats up with that?

It is extremely fun, but it does have it's problems. You might not have noticed it yet, but the game has some pretty bad lag problems, especially concerning CQC and headshots.

One problem people have wih this game is that they don't use stealth, but you'll find if you do use stealth the chances are you will come out top. When people are running around like headless chickens it's easy to fool them with magazines or claymores:P

Either way, the game is incredible and it's the main online game i'm playing right now!

I think its really good, definitely not the best though, that goes to BF2.

What I like about it is that it is a bit 'different' to play, the place is slower, and there are different tactics.

You don't get the same highs as other online shooters.

I did not like MGO whatsoever. The gameplay and controls might be good for single player, but not so much for the online mp game. istreakforfood

for me, I think the controls would be better for larger maps because its hard to aim when engaging someone in close range.
