Based off the majority of opinions even on Gamespot, most PS3 exclusives do well, the ones that get a 7.5 or very bad don't get talked about, but the games that get ranked in the 7.0's are still good, just ignored. To go up against your second claim, no one should have to try to fix it themself or buy a new one. With no hesitation even after the three year warranty is up for only one probelm, let us not forget the other defects it won't cover with the three year warranty. You are not only paying to have something fix in which you know will break over and over again after the so called three year warranty, you are also wasting money on online. How are you wasting money for online gaming you ask? All the times you don't have your Xbox 360 on you are still having money come into Microsoft. So lets say you didn't play your Xbox 360 for a month for a perticular reason, you are still supposed to pay and you lose money. With free online I can choose when I want to play without being affraid of not getting my money worth. I can even choose not to play online at all and still be alright, but with a Xbox 360 in most peoples opinion if you don't play online with a Xbox 360 you shouldn't have one. This is obvious the mentality of alot of people sense they keep saying Xbox 360 has such a better service and that online gaming is they key to having a Xbox 360. I avoid the Xbox 360 for a pretty easy reason, not only because of the problmes I posted above, but for the simply fact it realizes on Western related games too much and the Japanese games that do make it to the United States either don't interest me or can be gotten as a enhanced port for PlayStation 3.Hiroshi_Ichirou

I never ever understand how people can defend a system that is known to send out a defective uinit just so they can get an upper hand on Sony and Nintendo. I don't care if there is a 3 year warranty it shouldn't break like that in the first place. 1% is acceptable 1st year and going up slightly the longer it is from purchase, but not 54%, and I and many others believe its over 54%, that number is conservative with all the peolpe who have had dead 360s. I have a friend how had 9 replacement uinits 3 in a row came back DOA. Now thats messed up. I don't know about the rest of you , but I couldn't stand being without my ps3 for 2+weeks... I guess with 360 the games must not be that compelling so it doesn't bother you? That has to be it. I know on ps3 if i don't play it for a day or 2 i get cravings..lol . I also agree with the western thing, I love quirky jp games, and niche srpgs/rpgs like Disgaea series and masterpieces like Demons souls or ico.....

I also like the variety of different genres that i get with ps3, and the exclusives. I played halo 2 and gears 1 on my pc, they are mediorce compared to the games I have on my gaming pc... There really isn't much on the 360 besides old over hyped games and halo.. if you don't like halo or gears whats the point?

Friend A is on number 5 and my other friend B is on number 3....yet xbox service plan is better.

Does the squaretrade poll include RROD 360's returned to microsoft or only through their warranty? Seems like most people would send theirs in to microsoft. After dealing with buying a few ps2's last gen, the high failure rate of the 360 has definitely kept me away from picking one up.

I have a report from npd that says that before the PS3 and Wii were released the Xbox 360 worldwide was at around 10 million so yes they have lost ground..
