Kind of weird, I get people are probably using this to emulate Xbox titles and possibly why MS yanked it off the Xbox Store. But it's not like they weren't aware people were doing emulation to begin with, and not like there's any real revenue loss for them associated with Retroarch. Perhaps maybe there were more worries of potential legal liability. Or perhaps they did this at the behest of a third party partner.

Was the OP being facetious or were they actually serious with that commentary?

I baught BOTW three times. Once on the WiiU, again when I got the Switch and another Switch copy for my Nephew for his BDay. Never played the game on the Switch once, played through it twice on PC. Im looking forward to playing TOTK too, on PC, though when the price isnt stupid Ill probably buy it for my daughter to play on the Swtch and ill likely get a copy of that for my nephew too.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Emulators still work in Dev Mode. The removal only applies to the Retail mode.

@Pedro: I never said ssd is rendering triangles. I said bring in data when needed without having it sit in system memory. As the player turns like what Mark said in the deep down video. I never said ssd it self is rendering triangles. Just bring in data as the person is playing.

People are always gonna find ways to emulate games. If these companies allowed us to keep the games we pay for they wouldn't have to worry! You gonna go buy another copy of super Mario 3? Why should we have to? It's ridiculous. No?

You did and many folks have remembered your legendary claim. A storage device bringing data is standard in any game that streams. But you folks for fanboy reasons believed that it was new and exclusive to SSDs despite the facts. You all bought the nonsense hook, line, rod and sinker.

@Pedro: no I said straight to the gpu. Without the cpu. You said it's not fast enough without going through the cpu. I never said a ssd can render triangles I said help it without sitting in the system memory.

@gifford38: Pull the thread but I remember some wild claims being made in that PS5 SSD thread, whether it was you or another user, the Sony boys on the forum went full "teh power of teh cell" mode over an SSD.

Of course heavy doubts. If they release the game on pc, and every single person that was interested in the game sees the difference in visuals AND performance, the Switch version will get crucified, and no PR would be able to damage control. As is, the superior pc emulators are hidden to the average joe, and it better stay like that unless Nintendo wants a category 5 shitstorm.
