I wonder what's behind this statement. People judged specs on paper and fafts speak for themselves: on paper PS3 is superior. What truth is Microsoft expecting to come out? Are they hiding something about their hardware or talking complete PR nonsense?

Realistically, what are they SUPPOSED to say? "We're $100 more expensive AND we're weaker! Give us your money please!".

That hasn't been working up until this point. It is EASY to say "we'll see when the games come out" because graphics are ultimately SUBJECTIVE... it's easy to see "well, look at the games" and come to the conclusion "Yeah, they all look pretty good". On a technical level, is Driveclub more impressive than Forza? Absolutely. But if you see the two games, they both look really good (Although I think Driveclub does look better :X) 

People don't care about the real world application, if they did then PS3 would've sold neglible amounts of 3rd party games this generation. People care about the idea that its stronger, that they are getting more value for their money. And if their getting an equal or stronger machine (which it is), and a cheaper price point than its immediate competition (which it is), than people see an amazing value proposal for the device. This is the exact market psychology that allowed the 360 to take off after the PS3 launched; the brand loyality didn't matter, the value proposition was/is king.

This Rumor has been floating around for awhile about a descrete GPU stacked in the APU.

Another site has stated that Albert Penello said it wasn't true.

There is no secret sauce.

The X1 uses a different type of architecture. Relies heavily on parallel processing and off loading cpu and gpu task. However, I would imagine the PS4 is doing something similar. And of course the PS4 has more CU.

There is no secret wizard sauce or magical second GPU. The truth is they're not prepared for next gen as well as Sony even with more money and time, God knows why/how.

It's right here, dude... But, what you're gonna find in that article that all these people in these forums keep misconstruing is the fact that the journalist are (and have stated) that they are using configured PCs for their little test and that the test (by no means) are accurate performance analysis of the actual "fixed" PS4 and XBox One hardware. In other words, it was a educated performance test, using PCs...

Now...
