Dont buy it. Its no different then getting that achievement in R6V where you use the camera to create your own face. You have to buy the camera...

The KUDOS are the points you build up in the game. Thats what you use. How is that ownage? :shock:

Apocalypse is right. We paid $60 for game. Achievements just happened to be included in every game for the 360 because MS requires every game developers to include them in their game. A game is still $60 with or without achivements, technically.

I'm just rambling but, technically, mind you TECHNICALLY, you pay for everything in the game yes? Since Achievements are in the game you do, only by a technicality though, pay for the achievements. Is it what the topic creator is refering to? No, but, it's still food for thought.

Lol, oh trust me, I am in no way defending or trying to "damage control" anything. I enjoy sitting on the sidelines and laughing at all the systems, but I also like to point out things that pop into my mind. Good point on renting or borrowing, I didn't think of that.

And to the fakeboy in thread saying that PGR3 has no currency, yes it does, you use it to buy different cars in the game, and they can just as easily impliment in PGR4 where you have to get kudos to unlock a gamer pic. Well, it's still rolling because the moron train apparently is yet to be stopped by the ownage. It's just quite sad.

To add something to this, though: MS policy prevents companies charging for achievements. It's possible to pay to get an achievement, but it can't be the only way. This is true for 1000G of each game. An additional 250G can be obtained through downloadable content, either free or paid. For example, an achievement could be "max out your player" or "reach level 50", and the company could put characters for sale in the marketplace. This is legal only if it's possible to max out your char ingame.

But on another matter, some of those achievements look awesome.

Um... it's been proven wrong about a billion times in this thread already. The TC is just clueless, as are quite a bit of guys out there. The gorram achievement even mentions in-game currency!

How many pages now since TC was first owned on this? Can't believe this has gone on this long.
