Sorry MS, but if Sony couldn't pull off the "Value" arguement when the PS3 came out at $600 and is STILL the best BR player on the market, I don't think your customer-screwing Xbox One is going to be able to pull it off.

If we are delivering thousand's then that means that the Xbox should costs at least $2,499 at the very minimum to manufacture just ONE and that is at the VERY lowest, because most people don't say "thousands" if they are only talking about 2 thousand, that would be tied in with like 3 or above....

Whats the value?

The kinect that comes with the system? Sony has a camera just like it that is sold seperately if you wish to buy one and its 60 dollars, thats still 40 dollars less for a system and the camera than a xb1 with kinect.

XBL gold? For 60 dollars a year you get 2 games a month and ability to play games online and use your netflix account. PS+ is 50 dollars a year and gives you 18 games, 5 new games a month, PSN store discounts and more. PS+ is also not required to use netflix.

The hardware? A PS4 is still superior in the hardware category by a decent margain and costs less.

Games? Sure xb1 will have exclusives but so will the ps4 and the majority of games will be on both systems, and sony is treating the indie guys much better so their support will mean more indie games.

you can disable it, think about airplane mode when on your cell. Basically render it useless, you wont get the enriched features that Kinects offers tho, but dont have to worry about spying, unless you are a paranoid whacko and think its still in the grand plan to get spy on you lol

Yes you can turn it off but it obviously is never truly off because when its off if you say xbox on it turns on. So its monitoring something.

Whether or not they are spying on you is a company that would willingly do those things be a company you want to support and encourage by giving them money and using their products? This isnt about them spying on users, its about a company willing to send their paying customers up the river.

Microsoft cut tons of corners making the XBox1. They put a weak GPU in the console that is outdone by cards from 2010. They didn't even put a cheap headset in along with the console despite it being completely centered around internet access. The console won't even work if you don't have internet access! 

They underdelivered for the value...
