MS have already got rid of core game development if they get rid of kinect there is nothing left.

So, you now are in favour of Kinect games ?

So is this good news or bad news because I am not sure.

Either way MS will aways drop support for consumers who invested in their prior products when they have something new about to come out. No one should be surprised if Kinect games become just as dry as the 360 base unit in the up coming months, it's how MS does things.

Once you have spent money on a product from MS they consider the reationship between you and them to be over. MS only cares about consumers who have yet to buy from them.

I won't be surprised to see Microsoft use something like PS Move for the 720 since Kinect is a failure

Kinect outsold the Move and still continues to outsell it. So, don't you mean Move is a failure. Kinect even has most highly rated original IP's then the Move. Microsoft already said there a good chance a new Kinect 2 will be released with their next console, so it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Kinect was made for the hardcore gamers. It was made to pull some of the casual gamers away from the Wii and it seems to have worked. The Vancouver studio isn't gone. They just cancel a couple of games that weren't going anywhere fast. The studio is still working on other games and the developers are being spread out across other projects.
