Yeah, M$ gets credit, but I think more praise should go to the creator's of the games, Bioware and Epic.

Speaking of which, EPIC owns GeoW series after they delivered GeoW2, it was in their contract. It will be interesting to see where EPIC takes GeoW series, since it is arguably bigger than their main series, Unreal.

Also, Bioware has been gobbled up by Multiplatform agnostic money makers, EA, so who knows where that series is going. We do know Bioware's next game, Dragon Age, is for PC, 360, and PS3. That's EA for ya.

Still, you are right, both GeoW and ME are great PC games, and worth a look on 360.

No, my comment about EPIC isn't just about if it goes multiplat, it's about where they will take the franchise, to the next gen system's for launch, or keep it current gen.  It's all up to EPIC after GeoW2, which just hit the streets. Smart contract negotiation's for EPIC.

The best versions of Gears and Mass Effect are on PC. Epic and Bioware made these games not MS. EA has acquired Bioware, and there's rumors of Mass Effect 2 on the PS3.

Ah, sorry my mistake. Still, who is going to play a game that isn't distributed? Publishers have an important role to play too (even if they aren't responsible for the quality of the content).

Actually, publishers do directly contribute to a game's development in terms of funding. There have been several cases of developers requesting more money from their publishers for development. Some of the bigger developers don't use this system though, but I figured I should point it out just the same.

MS needs to commission more types of games though. They have like 1 JRPG and one platformer, and only like 2 action adventure games.

If they want to be number 1, then they have to make the 360 a true gaming console.

Exactly. The PS2 didn't have any good shooters and RPGs and it sold the most. Same with the Wii.

MS' 360 is just a PC with a controller and TV.

Hey that just reminds me, I have the option to install the game now. Thanks. Problem solved. Thank you MS once again.

Yay!! Lets get a very mediocre increase in performance, or you can buy the PC version, which destroys the 360 version in every single possible way.

Well JRPGs this gen suck. It's embarassing. When an American console has the best JRPGs, you know something is wrong.

The Xbox 360 has barely outsold the Xbox now, and the Xbox didn't even sell well. Microsoft is now trying to get the casual market but they don't get it.

The 360 barely outsold the Xbox. Wow, you're right, Microsoft did fail. I'm glad the PS3 has outsold the PS2 so far..... wait... it hasn't. And the Wii outsold the Gam--- oh wait, it probably did outsell the GameCube actually, nevermind.

Microsoft tried to become the PS2 of this generation, but they don't know what to do. They don't know what made Sony's console so successful.
