Ps3 has no chance this gen. Maybe is ps3 launched 3 years before 360 it would have a chance.

Why does everyone keep saying the better Modern Warfare 2? Modern Warfare 1 was the same on both consoles so I just don't understand people's logic. Anyways I could careless as long as I get the games I want screw everyone else.

It's going to be close. does it really matter though? lol. I'm not a fanboy of either I own a 360 and a PS3.

As for the Modern Warfare 2, I'll be getting my copy for the 360 simply because that's the console I play 90% of the time and I like XBL better than PSN.

I'm actually hoping the Wii has a price drop so I can get the next zelda... and... uh... that's about all that comes to mind.

no way 360 beats ps3 this year. when this gen first started almost every gamer wanted or was hyped for a ps3. then they announced the pricing. and everyone hated the ps3. as the price dropped so has the hate. these boards are flooded with ps3 fans now . and its just gonna get worse as more and more of the 130 ps2 userbase gets the money for a ps3

I would require some technical aspectsin what ways PS3's version will be inferior (i.e. Frame rate drops, visuals, gameplay or online)..

yes but campers & cheaters have nothing to do with technical issues which make a version better on one system compared to another... Its like me saying COD4 was better on PS3 cause on 360 i encountered more stupidkids/people with mics annoying everyone else with singing, commentingor else playing music loudly in the background..

I have COD4 on both PS3 & 360 and trust me i found both run perfectly identical offline & online... Also the minor visual differences cannot be noticed unless you want to perform checks on every single zoomed frame... :)

My alltime favorite COD4 camper kill happened at the construction site. I snuck up behind the guy, stood there for about 20 seconds and then knifed him. He had no clue I was behind him. I could see myself taking my Celphone out and taking a picture of myself killing him.

The 2nd best was one I snuck in a building and knifed 3 campers in the same room. I could see taking out the 1st one and getting killed, but the other 2 didn't seem to notice or alert each other....

Bundles will be very interesting, cause a racing game, an expansion and DLC will not do it for them, especially now that the prices are very similar worldwide.

Yeah, it's funny to think about. The xbox 360 has a 54-freaking-percent failure rate. The ps3 is allegedly more powerful, has blu ray, free online and limited motion controls, but the 360 is STILL doing better. And I'm not even talking about sales numbers, because I have stock in neither company and couldn't care less about their profit margins. But look, the xbox live community is THRIVING, even though the xbox has over a 1/2 failure rate and you have to pay for a subscription. PSN doesn't have half the online numbers. Why? Because xbox has better games and is more fun. It's that simple. And it's incredible that the ps3 can't even compete with such a heavily flawed machine.

Lol sorry but to average Joe they will see Gran Turismo and automatically go there since its in an essence the halo of racing games if you would like in the sense most consumers will intstantly recoqnise the logo's which have never changed unline Forza 1 to 2 and 2 to 3..

Brand presence is where it will lie if Sony get the game out in time and advertise like hell much in the same vein of 3 over here i remember there not being an ad break without it and made me want it even more xD.

Also with the Elite and PS3 being the same price i can see it being about split even if Sony do advertidse like madmen.Thats the way works its a good bundle but Sony has a few corkers this holiday season and they would be silly not to.

It is all a matter of personal opinion, and really PS3 and xbox 360 have a pretty even fall lineup. If we include the entire 2009 though, PS3 wins hands down.

Better controller, everyone has a headset, exclusive maps. I own both consoles and i usually get all my multiplat FPS's for the 360 for the controls and Live

people are gonna buy ps3 slims this holiday season. they will buy all the exclusives that playstation already has out. we will see if halos numbers can match god of war 3 when it comes out.sean0128

I think its the other way around. Bungie and Halo is the king of kings when it comes to sales. Halo has no "catching up" to do with any game
