Just a few things:
- Zune HD andWindows Mobile 6.5/7
- 30 million X360sold
- 20 million ACTIVE XBL subs,
- WINDOWS 7
- Bing 'Decision Engine'
X360 may not be in first place, but it is enjoying comfortable market share with the highest attachment ratio (last I checked). XBL is doing great with 20 million active subscribers. Once the XBL and Zune Marketplaces are fully integrated, X360's position as a media hub will be solidified.Zune HD looks to be a solid competitor to iPod Touch (better IMHO), and with XBLA on the go, it is a buy for me. Also waiting to see how the Zune integration on Windows Mobile will shape up. iCrap beware lol.
Windows 7 has stolen all the glory as a stable and vast improvement over the image and usabilityof its predecessor. Apple's Snow Leopard is barely even a blip on anyone's radar. PC gaming will continue to dominate....okay I kid, Ialways thoughtcontroller>KB/M. ANYWAY, Windows isn't going anywhere but up as far as 7 is concerned. Just as a bonus note: Microsoft's new Bing 'decision engine' is seeming more and more a revision than a rebrand. Hopefully this shakes up Google's iron grip on search and ads. Competition is alwaysgreat.
So now I'll ask: What has your favorite company done particularlywellin the past 3 months?

Microsoft has some BIG plans it seems
20 million Live members! not bad achievement for a paid service!
30 millions Xbox360's sold, sort of fits with MS projected figures for the end of April. Good chance MS will not abandon the Xbox360 early.
yes, MS may have a big showing out at E3 this year and with some of their major plans coming to fruition we may seea multi-pronged strategy that could realy work.
With Windows 7 around the corner-It has been getting very positive feedback since the beta and a true successor to XP who knows how well the integration with Windows 7 and Xboxlive is going to be like. They've been pushing 'Live aware' and no doubt it will be a big thing to MS with Live being seemless throughout the Xbox360 console, PCs, Windows mobile 7 and the Zune HD.
There idea of revamping Xboxlive marketplaceto further co-incide withZune HD may act as a conduit and make it more easy for those interested in just playing the casual arcade and community games on XboxLive.
If Zune turns out to be well with a lot of harddrive space, an easy to useinterface at a reasonable price it could definately be a serious contender to the Iphone(though I will enjoy both when more arcade games come out for them).
Apple's Apps store is still a hugeservice and no doubt with MS's use of Netflix for movies and signing a deal with Sky for T.V's this could be the other major online apps servie that could rival Apple's plans.
on a side note I really hope Apple enters the gaming market and really heat up the online race for gaming, movie and digital distribution.
This year's E3 could be huge! with MS, Nintendo doing very well and their possible commitment to the hardcore and their contirbutions to increasing the gaming audience market and a possible announcment from Apple it is a win-win for everyone.
