Microsoft have done a 360, Nintendo have done a 180! =)

Microsoft basically copied the same plan they took with the original Xbox, made a 360, and followed through in the same direction.

Nintendo realized that they needed to turn around and so they made a 180 and started going in the right direction. Now look at who is winning?

Microsoft shouldn't have made the Xbox360. What they needed to do was make an Xbox that changed direction instead of going through a roundabout and then taking the same road that led them in the wrong direction in the first place.

All Sony need to do is change gear, because at the moment they're stuck in reverse! :o

In terms of sales: Yes. (so far)

In terms of games: Not even close

I don't know about you but I prefer playing games as opposed to looking at sales charts.

(Even though one of those games is definitely a cancelled Gamecube game)

Then let me destroy that thery of yours, deep down inside, I have only 1 fear for nintendo... and that's that they won't use the channel system to it's fullest extent. They could release so many great channels, but they havn't done anything significant recently.

Casuals? The number of normal cames to casual games is still a 6:1 ratio... nintendo is throwing non gamers a bone while hardcores get the full course meal. Great third aprty content, I see really nice third party content, and expect a big third party improvment in 08 with how well it clearly did all of 07.
