coulda fooled me towards the end of halo 3. I knew he was invincible in 2, but that's it.I disagree. I don't like Master Chief much at all, and Reach's single player was much more interesting than the original trilogy, due to the fact that MC will likely never die.

[QUOTE="walkingdream"][QUOTE="Heirren"]How so? also i agree to the poster above 1-50 should return. He was talking about reticle bloom (I hate it too). I also agree about 1-50. I understand that but Bloom works great. Learn to pace your shots. Perhaps because i'm a big PC player i adjusted to bloom very well and dominated most reach games with the DMR when i played on a consistent basis. Not my fault most people think Halo should have no bloom. You LIKE the bloom? We are talking about the visual effect, right? Because if we are, I consider it to be the "fog" of this generation.

Sigh....Bloom is fine seriously i don't understand how it's hard to adjust? PC players have had it for decades! While I love Reach, reticle bloom has taken ALL skill from Halo. It is so random and allows the better player (who paces their shots) to lose to someone spamming the hell of the the DMR and getting a cheap win. Not to mention they have slowed down the gameplay (movement speed, jump height) of EACH game since Halo 1. Seriously, play Halo1 and then Reach. You go from feeling like a cheetah to feeling like you are a turtle, agonizingly slow.

Master Chief IS in reach last mission in the pelican look to the sides of you. You will see MC in his airlock cage 4 hours before halo 1 startsEzLiberachiThat's 1 second in a ten hour long game. Master Chief is not the last mission, btw, Cortana is.
Speaking of non-MC centered Halo, the next novel in the Forerunner trilogy titled Halo: Primordium was announced to be released Jan. 3, 2012.

Nope, it's not as consistent as it should be in a first person shooter. People aren't complaining about bloom as much as they complaining about bungie's bloom. Which is entirely different from the other halo games, and gaames such as shadowrun. While I love Reach, reticle bloom has taken ALL skill from Halo. It's probably why all the 12 year old kids on xbox live love it. It's a noob friendly fps

and is the reason it's been so popular (in addition to the colossal marketing budget)
