I've been recently thinking about the most important part of the year, gaming- and business-wise, which is of course the holiday season.
Come to think of it, Microsoft has at least 5 big hitters for that season alone (sequence is not chronological), starting from September (I guess?):
Halo 5: Guardans
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Forza 6
Crackdown
Scalebound
Just imagine if all of them scored AA-AAA
and then there's Fable Legends, which, given its cross-platform nature might also become very popular.
Now please do tell me it's a shit lineup.
And yes, Crackdown and Scalebound - as of now - are slated to come out in 2015, so there's no reason not to consider them here unless there are some further developments. There still might be more to come, but in this light, do you find it weird that Phil Spencer said some games might be postponed because their 2015 holiday schedule is too crammed?
Now, may I ask - what does Sony have to counter it? And I'm not really talking about Japanese games catered towards only Japanese audiences. Or indies. And before attempting to discredit any of these games on whatever grounds, just come up with one holiday 2015 Sony exclusive AAA title.
