Microsoft is a copycat

1) Ipod > Zune

2) Apple > Vista

3) PS1 PS2 > Xbox

4) PS3 > Xbox360

5) PSP > Zune

Is that copycat?

1) I guess Apple copied off of other MP3 players, eh? And have fun buying 5 ipods... 2) I'll let the sales speak for that BS... DX10 > anything Apple sells... 3) I guess Sony copied off of Nintendo.. And Nintendo copied off of Atari.. Do you see where I'm going with this? 4) Opinion. Right now, the 360's game lineup is FAR better... 5) I guess so. The PSP is a handheld gaming machine...

ah ipod is completely different from mp3 players before it. Itunes for one thing changed the way we add songs to MP3 players. And Ipod was the first hard drive based MP3 player. Allowing you to add thousands of songs. Before the ipod they had mp3 players where you had to buy 40mb disc and store music on them. The ipod changed the mp3 player world. So they created the MP3 player we see today. So we can say ipod was the first hard drive based mp3 player. It was not the first device that played mp3's but every mp3 player after it are using things apple created. Hard Drive based mp3 player, itune like software, movies, and now games. What are you talking about buying 5 ipods. You my friend do not own one. This is not microsoft where the xbox360 is getting so broken many xboxes that the watchdogs are looking at them right now. I'm a little worried about my xbox and I bought it a month ago. Now for my ipod I have no worries at all. You get 1 year warrenty and these things are build well. Apple has a better track record than microsoft for durblilty of products. Xbox had problems and X360 has problems, look at XP when that first came out it. They had ports opened that allowed hackers in easily. Why do you think they got service pack 2? Now I don't know any problems that the zune had but if you look at there track record you'll see which company better known for durable products. Wait a year the problems of the zune will start to come out.

You forget that Microsoft didn't actually develop DOS either, it came from QDOS and Gates and co simply tweaked it and licensed it to IBM.
They are not great at innovation, but they are incredibly good at looking at competition, figuring out what works and does not work, and attacking competition's weaknesses.

Actually MS is the best in the world at innovation (taking a known product and making it better). They suck b*lls at invention though.

Apple is not an OS it's a company. The 360 was out befor ethe PS3. As for the PS1,2 psp, and ipod argument. How is maknig  a procduct with the same function copying? Are Saab, Chevy, and BMW copying Henry Ford? Are Toshiba and Panasonic copying the first company to product T.V's?

Stop using a red herring. You are just trying to change the subject when you know it is lost. what you said has nothing to do with whether or not microsft copied apple with windows. Now Lets get back to the topic.

There, more unbiased than yours. As a matter of fact, by your logic they're all copy cats. You self owned yourself on this one.

Your funny. I can see you right now infront of your computer with your thumb to your nose, wiggling your fingers saying "nananabooboo" in your Peter Pan pajamas. Your mom is probably making you some Mac & Cheese that you will eat out of a bowl shaped like a bears head, using a spoon thats handle looks like a rocket ship and glows. I just love the energy of little kids.

The good old Ad Hominum. Since you can't ague against the idea you attack the character. Nice job but you just commetted one of the 10 most used logical Fallacy. Don't attack the person attack the idea. Your argument not vaild.

Microsoft was a little 3 man company back then. The fact that Bill Gates copied off of Apple well over 20 years ago has nothing to do with what Microsoft is today.

IPOD not the first Harddrive mp3 player  In 1998, Compaq's engineers made the first hard-drive-based MP3 player and licensed, IPOD came out in 2001.

All the console copied magnavox odyssey.

Microsoft copied Apple THANKGOD they did one button push overs.
