Microsoft is Now Actually Helping PC Gaming.

Kind of a waste though, why go through all the effort to port a game nobody even wants. They could have ported something like Lost Odyssey, Alan Wake, or Conkers Live & Reloaded (without the censorship) and everyone would be much happier. SAGE_OF_FIRE

If you had actually read the thread you would see the majority of posters care little about Fable 3. This is more about MS getting off their asses and finally doing something right in the PC marketplace for once, even if it is but a small step forward.

I'd rather deal with GFWL than the crap that is securom.

They're going to have to release Fable 2 on PC if they wish for me to buy Fable 3

*laughs softly* gotta love that GFWL is bad...etc..etc when in reality its just like steams store front GFWL was never bad Hermits just didn't like it cause GFWL costs money to use at one time even when it was free because it wasn't steam they wouldn't use it whats funny is they call for all these changes to it making it like another service completely yet refuse to use it and thus give it the *irony* steam it needs to get there.

Who knows how well it sold though. But between the two, Fable is a much more recognizable name.

does it really matter where you buy it? Once you actually start playing its all the same...

if M$ played there cards right they could make GFWL be able to play games cross platform that are available on both 360/PC, it would be infinitly better then steam IMO

I know I'm in the minority, but I'm not convinced that The Witcher 2 (or even 1 for that matter) is some kind of RPG juggernaut. Reviews/opinions on the first game were good for the most part, but when I played the Witcher I only thought of it as a game with a lot of potential, nothing more, nothing less. I have no idea how people could finish The Witcher so blown away that they can expect so much out of the sequel. It still has a lot to prove.

Also keep in mind that most of the sales were due to those $5, $7.50, $10, etc, sales. Technically that's a good way of building a fanbase, but the only way to see if that actually worked is if people buy the next game. People on SW telling me how great it will be isn't really enough.

And yes, I've seen videos and I think it looks really good. I just wasn't impressed with the first one.
