After the the ps3 price dropped around the world, sales are now dramatically going up, if it get's to next year, the blue-ray fromat will win the war. Toshiba knows this, and is trying to put the hd-dvd drive into the xbox 360, which is a dumb move becasue it will cost even higher or the same as the ps3. This is a sign of desparration for microsoft since they know that devopers are praising the ps3 now, for thier blue-ray. If sony wins the format war, microsoft is in real trouble. hurmatps3

"One piece of news that came out this week was that Sony pleaded with third-party developers not to abandon its struggling platform. That change in attitude is a marked difference compared to the arrogance of past years. The argument is that the PS 3 will show its strength as developers learn how to make games for it. But developers know they can staff four or five Wii teams with the same number of people it takes to make one PS 3 game. We may havea glut of Wii games soon, but that's not as bad as not having enough games on the PS 3."
Who's scared again?

Really, blogs can't be trusted. Neither can a lot of sources. People need to learn to make their OWN opinions, not just listen to others. Stop using ad populum logic.

I'm encouraging all my friends to get a PS3 since they're y'know. Reliable. I kinda expect that from a $300+ machine.

Aw a futureshop ad today...659.99 for a ps3 with lair and motorstorm.....399.99 for a 360 with dirt and guitar hero 2 bundle...sounds like desperation alright.eddy_of_york
Damn the 360 deal seems awsome. Dirt and guitar hero is way better than liar and motorstorm and it cost less.

Don't forget March 07, they were almost positive that MS was scared of the release of Motorstorm.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who remembers this. Every other month this year cows were predicting a new game would destroy the 360. Motorstorm, VF5, Warhawk, Lair and Heavenly Sword were all supposed to justify the PS3, spur system sales, and get great reviews. When the bunch completely failed to do this, the battle cry suddenly became "wait till 2008!" Trust me, guys, MS is doing nothing but laughing at Sony right now. They might be dangerous next year (if FFXIII and MGS4 don't go multiplat), but MS has plenty of time until then to peacefully prepare. Winning the 2007 holiday before it's started will do that for you.

That's a blog, which is not true. Get this through your head, sony is a company they know what they are doing, you guys here don't know anything about how they run thier business.
There are a lot of holes there, aren't there? So a blog vs. your opinion, and you expect people to believe you over that? Secondly -'Sony is a company they know what they are doing, you guys here don't know anything about how they run their business.' Another funny statement, shall I show you why?
'Microsoft is a company they know what they are doing, you guys here don't know anything about how they run their business.' See! If your statement is true, then so is that one meaning that you can't possibly comment on whether or not Microsoft is scared because, to quote yourse;f ' you...don't know anything about how they run their business.'
