Everybody knew about Teken ages ago, I'm sorry but you can't cover up how meh that keynote was. ending with 2 Halo videos at TGS? No wonder they have a hard time selling in the Japanese market.

It's funny they must spend alot securing those JRPG's yet they don't do much else but release them, and then think if a few people get the Xbox they might just buy the next Halo game hopefully.

That's just the thing. It seemed like the wrong time to announce Halo 2.5 there. If they were going to do that, they should have done it at E3 2009 instead. They needed more RPGs and other Japanese type games at TGS.

Microsoft needs some quality NEW IP's for 09. That is what I am interested in hearing, not Halo 3 milkage. Whatever floats your boat though, I suppose.

I personally love the idea, but im a halo fanboy and yes it will be a top seller..... IM sure new IP's are going to be announced.....

I agree, MS has a very poor line up for 2009 compared to Sony and Nintendo. They needed to deliver multiple titles, not just one expansion.

they started out giving a ps3 a run for its money and ended it with an easy position for sony to strike back in japan

They needed to keep up the momentum they had in Japan, but instead the botched it and will probably go back to the 2k a week.

Also it looks as if MS will now start to milk the Halo franchise. I'm not saying Halo spin offs and Halo inspired games will be bad, but there will be more and more and more Halo in the upcoming years.
