Well Microsofts have been scammers with the point system by secretly and slightly changing the value of the points making people pay more for less. Atleast PSN cards show the actual value.

that is total bs. MS points have always been 80 points per dollar. that has never changed. as for psn cards, if you try to buy something on psn for $19.99 with a $20 psn card, you can't because sony charges taxes for EVERY item sold. Ms only charges taxes for buying points, not dlc, game add-ons, tv shows or movies.

tax is actually determine by the state you live in. here in Illinois, we dont get charged tax on the PSN card itself, but we actually get charged on the store. Personally i wish they lower games to the point where a $20 PSN card is all you need to buy a $19.99 or 2 $9.99 game

i've purchased videos and dlc on psn with my CC. f---ing taxes are ridiculous. but then again, everything is expensive in NYC. but this is where buying MS points is an advantage over the psn purchase system: less money spent on taxes.

Bout time I have some useless 100 points in my account because I had to buy 500 points. I'm glad they changed it but I wish they would use real money like steam, psn and just about every other online retailer.

You know dollars and cents? not these stupid ass point systems. Maybe now I'll won't be so hesitent to purchase more points, plus I don't have to order them from amazon anymore. Unless I can get it at a discount of some sort.

I don't get it. Now this is better then PSN how? You are aware that on PSN they actually have the ACTUAL dollar amount on the screen. And you can use a credit card to purchase the exact amount you need. In other words, you don't need to make an unnecessary transaction to convert your real money to some stupid point form and then have some left over that you can't use until you decide to purchase something else. And if you never decide to purchase another product, you have a dollar or 2 sitting in MS pocket that they basically got for free.

http://kotaku.com/5513596/microsoft-points-now-sold-in-more-reasonable-batches I am truly amazed every time Microsoft upgrades everything such as their services. Now available are more reasonable batches and increments of Microsoft Points. You can not do this with PSN cards. Sony only have increments of $20 and $50. Microsoft is the best in the business of business, they are the leader and what these other gaming companies look up to in my reality of things and educated opinion.reanimatedchamp

I am hugely, supremely, infinitely amazed too. Wait... no I'm not. But telling me that you have a beard would amaze me.
