Entering into a market dominated by Sony during the ps1 days, and then equally selling well during the early ps2 days, I would say 24 million units sold lifetime isn't mediocre for the original Xbox, and for the Xbox 360 to sell as much as it did, equaling the sales of the ps3, I'd say MS has done well for itself.

The game is still on the X1, they still getting the maps and all the DLC just 1 month later so what's the big deal? If anything MS now saving money cause they don't have to market CoD anymore although it will still be mentioned by MS anyways.

They lose perception. PS4 is now seen as the best place for call of duty, which gets a lot of attention (Trust me I don't know why. It's crap compared the first few). So now those consumers see the Xbox as an inferior platform because COD is better on PS4.

In the past the majority of advertising I've seen for CoD games has always been done by MS. I guess time will tell if this is a mistake on Activision's part. Let's be honest Sony is not the best company for marketing.

I mean for years MS advertise CoD as if it was their own game and I thought it was stupid then but since it's been that way for years, it's going to take more than 1 year for things to just change around to know people associating it with Playstation. Either way I wasn't getting it anyways cause there's to many other games to get this holiday but I don't see how this is a win or lose either way.
