It doesnt give any money to M$ , neither does Gears of War. Only games by Microsoft Studios earn anything.

It just keeps thier grip on gaming on PCs. So theres no room for Macs to step in.

Microsoft is the Publisher of Gears of war. If your a Publisher you always making money.

You can still play Lost Planet, Gears of War and soon Halo 3.

Also, its not so much whoring games, as it is keeping WINDOWS the number 1 gaming OS .... if thye lost that, then they would lose alot more than with the Xbox360 ... the success of gaming on thier OS is more important ... its a good portion of the reason Windows is dominent ...

I agree with what your saying, but I also think thaty they need to cut back on porting these exclusies to PC. If they are goin gto be in the console business, then they need to keep good exclusives on the console only. If they keep porting over all the goods, then those who havent decided on wht to purcahse are just going to get a PS3 or Wii, becasue they can play the good games on their PC's. It okay to port a few games but not all the big heavy hitteres because it lessens the appeal of the 360. If they want to exapnd windows gaming then they should try bringing up new IP's. This is just my opinion. I think MS needs to cut back

360 owners get these titles a long time before they go into the realm of PC's so more people can enjoy the games if they choose to. I dont see this hurting anybody outside of the system wars logic and rules.7thSIN

I do agree with you, but it does also give the consumer a reason to get a ps3 if he has a decent pc.

Lost Planet, Gears of War, and eventually...Halo 3 all will end up on the Pc with better frame rate, resolution and more content, so why should I waste money on the console version?

I want those games to remain exclusive to their console. Microsoft is just whoring out it's best titles now. Sure, it's great for owners of high end Pc's, but sucks for the rest of us. It's just another example of Microsoft screwing the Xbox owner over. All of us dedicated 360 owners should write into Microsoft expressing our disappointment over their refusal to keep their best titles on their native platform.

thats why ill never get the 360..unless it is 150 dollars..the hardware have so many problems its not even funny..

why exactly should we care? PC owners in best case scenario have to wait an entire year for port of a game. I personally would never consider waiting an entire 1-2 years for a halo3 port that is way too long of a time for such an amazing game.

halo 3 will not be on the pc for a while, would you really want to play the game 3 years from now :|

i mean i will still be rocking out on live at that point, but just to wait that long when the 360 version is the best version of halo?

1. pc gaming blows by mass consumers opinion and proven by the sales compared to console games.

2. until pc offers ALL the playmodes as consoles, they are NOT considered the same gaming therefore, those are still exclusive in the industry's eyes...

3. most people don't have pc rigs capable of running those games.

so on the one hand if ms offers money to keep a game exclusive you guys say "they are buying the industry".
