If it has to load everything at once then surely it would take longer. Even so, I'm sure I can get into the PSN store on my PS3 before my 360 profile signs into my XBL profile.
It doesn't.
Pretty sure I can. When 360 is connected to internet then it takes forever to sign into XBL. I use same internet connection on both, neither on wi-fi but connected straight to ethernet. Either way, I'd take the significantly less boot time because when I boot up my console I want to play video games 99% of the time.
You still haven't answered my question regarding how often you turn on your game console and directly go into the store. Doubt it is that often.
Often. I have PS Plus, so it's good to see the updates. Other than that, I like to see what was added, which is difficult.
Weird. I get that info from game websites.
"So you use a seperate machine to avoid the PS Store? lol." When its off it is easier to do that for both consoles. Just buy the game on the web and download it to your console next time you fire it up. In fact, I never use the XBLM. It is so cumbersome that I have not used it in awhile. Not sure why they feel the need to make their icons so damn big. Makes browsing so slow.
Slow in what way? When icons are limited per screen, your argument loses ground.
When using the scroll text on both systems, 360 limits to 5 items (its also slower to load in my experience). PS3 uses the whole right side of the screen. Search "poker" on both consoles. It'll take you twice as long to find what you want on the 360, assuming you don't know the exact name of the game.
They do change it a lot. It feels like every six months. They always change where things are when they do it too. Memory management is a nightmare on the 360. I had to google where to go last time.
You made the claim, so prove it. What it feels like, is arbitrary. You had to Google? Really?
You don't have to take the 6 months as a literal interpretation. The design has changed significantly many times in the 360 life span. Yes.
Where are you getting confused on the PS3? What's confusing? Without looking I can tell you where most things are. Far left is sign in. Then next tab is anything with system management (changing themes, firmware). Music. Film. Game. Account management and then friends on the right side. What is so confusing?
When you have to explain every sub-menu, you're helping my point.
Lol what? What's the 5th slide on the xbox dashboard? Tell it to me without explaining it.
