That's how all Xbox 360 kiosks look, even in the US. My local Best Buy's Xbox 360 had the RRoD for a few weeks, and it was using the exact same kiosk design. Microsoft effed up, plain and simple. The RRoD is partially responsible for MS's lead starting to disappear.

and the 360 continues to outsell the PS3 in Japan on a weekly basis again.

The x360 was sold out in japan after vesperia came out, old models were flushed out cheaper.

I've never seen one. Oh, I've seen them with broken controllers and ejected discs, not the actual console broken.

The same thing happened at my local target.

But, I know the manager personally, and hes a big playstation fanboy, so that may have been intentional.

Really nothing new. I've seen PS3's and Wii not working in Kiosks, so this isn't a surprise. That could have been a launch system for all we know. Who cares. The systems are selling better in Japan now and the holidays are approaching fast.
