[QUOTE="carljohnson3456"][QUOTE="Chaos_HL21"][QUOTE="carljohnson3456"] If Sony did it in a different way than MS... can they still get sued over it? I mean, isnt this a feature the PSP and PC has had forever???
Playing music in the background of a system copyrighted? I dunno.
I doubt it's legit anyway.

MS may of patented it, I remeber reading in a PC gamer that MS does hold the patent for achievements (another possible lawsuit against Sony), so they may also have the patent for custom Soundtracks.
No way MS can sue Sony over "trophys".... no way. I understand that Trophys are knock offs, but no way are they achievements.
Copy catting isnt against the law as long as it's actually done differently.
Sued for trophies...probably not. Now if point values are assigned to tropies and those point values are accumulated into a "trophyscore", then they probably could. Simply renaming something isn't enough, you need to execute it differently also. Then couldnt Nintendo sue MS for using a point system since Super Mario used a point score system way back in the day?
I bet the only number associated with trophys will be how many trophys total you will have.
