They debuted Scorpio already so they could focus on games, according to Phil Spencer. That is great news for gamers.

I had heard they were making a Banished campaign for HW2 but I really wasnt expecting a Flood expansion. Thats great news. I hope I get one of these in my swag bag Sunday :P

We're going to be looking at a powerpoint presentation of every Teraflop they put in the Scorpio.

A Flood expansion for Halo Wars 2 would be awesome.

The scorpio hasn't debuted. We don't know what it looks like, it's release date or price, or even what it's official name is. All they did was reveal its specs to DF.

If this is real I don't think it'll be dlc. I think it'll be an ODST like game that was built specifically to show off scorpio.

Why people think they would release Scorpio with no new games is beyond me. They already said they made the devkit with the purpose of making it easy for devs to make games. They created PIX dev tool to make it easy to optimize games. Spencer already tweeted they extended the time because they had more games they felt they needed to show.

I hope they drop a real megaton and announce a Steam app for Scorpio so all the 'no games' argument can finally be put to bed with the 'less powerful system' argument.

All cows will have left is the weeaboo exclusive argument, and thats whatever to me.

I listened to the latest IGN podcast, and that new "S" logo patent mentions VR. I would assume they have something with VR to show at E3, I have no idea what that is.

That tweet is some next level stuff. It reminds me of Wild Wild West. haha

I don't see how this is a surprise to anyone. They're going to official reveal the console at the show. That alone could easily take up 15-30 minutes.

Fwiw, I think the show begins with Phil saying that ever game they will be showcasing will be native 4K and/or 60fps on Scorpio. Mostly because I expect a large presence from Microsoft Studios. We'll see Crackdown, maybe a Gears / Halo 4K edition re-release, something from Rare and/or Lionhead.

Re-reading this thread... I have a feeling this E3 is going to be one of the best in System Wars for a very long time lol Everyone is at maximum ruthless.

Where are all these games then? Are you talking about the couple of meagre 'exclusives' they dumped on PC? Did you miss the long stream of PS4 exclusives and MS stepping completely out of exclusive territory? Are you stupid?

What have they been making for the Scorpio their budget multiplat PC without the PC exclusives? Nothing? Zero? Nada? Or is it all a great big secret?

@Big_Pecks: Sony will shock the world and win big when they unexpectedly show off a bunch of third person walking/climbing simulators (tlou, gow etc), and one sub-par racing game with 2D trees and only 100 cars.

@oflow: O'Connor says it's fake but he did that when Halo 2 anniversary was mentioned before E3 2014. We'll see.
