but anyways, lets go back to the sales thing for a second. Games sell like ass on the ps3. Lets say that both ut3 and cod4 sell 1.5million on the ps3 combined. Now lets say cod4 sells 1.5 million on the 360 and ut3 sells .75 million (console gamers are not very familiar with this game and it will sell most of its copies through the epic brand name)

thats 3.75 million right there. If halo 3 sells 7-8 million, that means that pc sales need to account for about 50% of these games sales (which is unlikely)

so actually..... he could be right when he says that halo3 might outsell both games combined even though they are multiplat. Unreal tourny games have been on consoles before and have sold poorly. Plus, ut3 doesnt even release on the 360 this year. and halo 3 will cut into cod4 sales by about .5million on the 360. And we know ps3 has sold only a few million plus games sell poorly on the ps3.

:lol: thanks, I needed a good laugh. I'm no lemming, or Halo 3 fanboy in fact I never bought Halo 2 because I just couldn't get into the game, but those games don't stand a chance around Halo 3. As much as I love Unreal Tournament games, Halo 3 is going to run circles around it in terms of sales this holiday season.
