Are they all releasing this year? I've grown weary of companies showing trailters of games that won't be releasedfor 4 years (I'm looking at you, Killzone 2, Alan Wake, and Gran Turismo 5, amongst others).

Customers generally look at the entire library when choosing their console purchases, not just exclusives.

I agree and that's me in a nutshell. Sure i'd like to play a few higher end games but i'm not going to spend $500 just to do that and lose out on stuff i can get on the 360 that's better anyways. The ps3 is still not worth it when it's a downgrade in so many key areas. Unless you need to have everything and want a 360 to play all your multiplats and a ps3 just for it's exclusives. But that's completely ludicrous to me.

It is an ok line up but MS needs to push out some exclusives. I'm not naive enough to think MS doesn't have something up their sleeve at E3. Really, there is no doubt this list will at least double. However, if MS thinks this is enough and their big announcement is a game like MGS 4 going multiplat, I would say they are screwed for the year.

they are on the 360 though. That's not something you can say for Sony or Nintendo.. Good luck playing that stuff on the ps3. It won't work lol. Or better yet getting a high end pc to play them when you can just play them on the 360.... That makes a lot of sense. face it people buy the 360 to play these games.. Because it's the easiest and least expensive route.

Yep. Mass Effect2, Forza3 and Halo ODST alone make it an awesome list. Well....they are the sequels of the best games this gen on their respective genres ;)

Plus, there's also the Rare games i mentioned as well as the game from BigPark studios that MS just bought.

Sure some of those games may also be available on PC but that doesn'tmake them any less valid in terms of Xbox 360's overall game library. I mean sure a PS3 owner can no doubt choose to play those games on the PC if they wish but by doing so you're essentially saying it takes you owning both the Ps3 and PC to match what the Xbox 360 gets on its own.

Well it's hard to argue with that UNLESS it's the usual card error, but they never mentioned any other version in interviews, etc, and they've been saying that the 360 version is the only one they're working on. Would i be surprised if it went multiplat? No, but that's not what i'm going by.

They can be used within the general library, however the consensus is, for competitive reasons we compare exclusives, as they occupy the singular platform. Using all this "You can play it on 360 and PC but not on PS3", and other iterations, would get way too confusing to track.
