[QUOTE="EVOLV3"]

[QUOTE="hopesfall2own"] You mean like all those "killer" games that ps3 had that would finish the 360 right? :roll:hopesfall2own

:? No... I am referring to the countless times Lemmings claimed that the PS3 is dead. I have no idea what your talking about.

naturally... the point was you can make the exact same pic and switch microsoft with sony and be nonethewiser.

Doesnt make it any less true, or funny.

PS2 sales: 145 million Xbox 1 sales: 25 million PS3 sales: 22 million 360 sales: 28 million Xbox 360 certainly HAS indeed taken loads of market share from Sony, if that shows any signs of success. It even competes with PS3 in... JAPAN, of all places. I remember 360 outsold PS3 for nearly 2 months straight over there a while ago.PandaBear86

isnt the ps3 outselling the 360 in japan 3 to 1?

that's called competting now?

You could say the same thing about the PS3 and MGS4, LBP, Killzone 2, etc. LoseEagles1245
nope. we never claimed it would finish the lemmings, just that it would rock on all of those, and that it would tilt the fence toward the pasture instead of the lemming suicide cliff. (has anybody else noticed 360 fanboys are called animals that run off cliffs committing suicide, wii fans are called a useless white thing and ps3 fanboys are called something that can support a family?)

yes it is outselling. 360 got ninja gaiden 2 so for 2 months japan wanted them, then came the stream of youtube videos showing a black haired kid smashing a 360.

LOL Don't you people get it? PS3 already won, You just don't know it yet. Most of the games that are exclusives aren't even out yet. When the price goes down and all the exclusives come out, the PS3 will reign supreme. Xbox 360 has no more games besides that its a crappy console that breaks too much and people will notice that (unless they are rabid fanboys that will die for their consoles). I know that by the end of this year, the PS3 will catch up in sales and maybe surpass the xbox.Warzone876
You know the 360's lineup for 2009?

The same thing can be said about the PS3,Cows what happened to all those So-Called "killer exclusives" that were gonna De-Throne the 360 last year in sales?,Cows should be hiding right now and be ashamed on how the PS3 sold dead last compare to the 360, In spite of killzone 2 coming out last month and flopped in Sales in america.

NinjaOmega8900
alright, we lost in america because we're a japanese company and the economy crashed in america first, making the cheaper one better, but we're winning 2 to 1 in africa, 3 to 1 in japan, 1.5 to 1 in china and korea, 3 to 1 in europe, and 5 to 1 in australia. we here at cow hq center (i say center because we're underground, and no continent would make sense because of that) think america can kiss japan's feet for MORE ps3s.

pft even if sony catches microsoft nintendo still wins,

if ms stays above sony nintendo still wins so why should we care, lol

mariokart64fan
because nintendo doesn't have any games that the people playing ps3 and 360 can enjoy for very long, and the catchy motion sensing thing is gone, and just using it when we run out of buttons on the ps3 controller is popular. btw, that list needs "when we have vibration and they don't the ps3 is finished" and we all know what happened there.

The PS2 outsold the Xbox 1 on a ratio of nearly 50:1... 22 million vs 400k overall console sales? I think 3:1 is definitely competing. PS3 is selling strong in Japan right now because of Yakuza and some other game.

Microsoft lost the war yet again to Nintendo, but they totally smashed Sony in the face. Sony's marketshare is pathetic compared to last gen. However, Sony may be defeated, but it was a Pyrrhic victory on behalf of Microsoft. It's doubtful they can continue the trend of beating Sony in the face for 3 straight years, but they'll have a nice buffer window and experience to release a worthwhile system next go-around. Honestly, if the new XBox launches in 2010...it would not only be the end of the PS3, but the destruction of SCEA.

Not really, the PS3 is so good that Microsoft is already working on a new xbox while the PS3 will still compete with it and make sales just like the PS2 still does now. And the PS4 will be ultimate and crush the xbox 720

ps3 has always sold strong in japan though...at twice the price of the 360...sony doesnt exactly seem worried about japan atm

So you would purchase the next x box over a PS3 if the next x box were to be released next year?

That's all well and good but that doesn't take into account that the Japanese market is nowhere near the size of the NA market. So whatever Sony wins in Japan, is easily made up in America.
