I'm a little confused by the contents of that video.

Enable this on Facebook or some other crap, but they really should just kill GFWL and make the world a better place.

Why are people talking about "stay away from PC Microsoft!" I know ya'll aren't gaming on Linux.

That's the beauty of an open platform. If it's crap, nobody will use it, and few games will support it.

A lot of games support "games for windows" which just lets you plug in a 360 controller and everything is automatically and intelligently mapped.

Not a lot of games support "games for windows live" which uses xbox live, and some of those that do have dropped support in their sequels (dawn of war games).

I dont buy LIVE games. BioShock2? Skipped it. If I buy something on steam, it mean that I chose steam over MS's joke of a service. i dont want yet another gui layer in my game. AND YES it forces you to log in or you cannot save your game.

EA did similar things with dragon age and now I watch for it. I am sorry, but I dont want to log into 3 different account to play a bloody game.

I agree TC. I don't want any of their crap forced upon me lol. PC is my favorite for a reason that MS stands against :P.

Steam is built for PC gaming, were as Microsoft is trying to push the console model onto PC.

On evolves with PC, the other is trying to standardize/streamline it like a console.

yeah me too. their dream is to make some Farmville-style games for the masses where every click costs you money.

the demand for "hardcore games" will remain, but serving for casual crowd makes easier money so... i just wish someone will keep delivering for us too.

In all seriousness that video was very disturbing, I can only hope the masses aren't that stupid to fund and support this garbage.

This is an internal video froma year ago that was never released for obvious reasons. I still fully expect people to over-react at this point in time though.

However, it's terrible. I want nothing of the sort on my PC. It's a terrible idea and I'm glad it has not seen the light of day.
