The first one was one of my favorite games on the PS2. Second one...well not so much.

Yeah, I think it was my first favorite PS2 game. I got the system near launch, and played some crap games at first, then went out and rented DMC, not even sure if it was gonna be good or not, and it blew me away. Amazing.

And then I was totally hyped for the sequel, pre-ordered it and everything. And then I beat it in no time, and it totally sucked.

Still, the most disappointing sequel ever in my book.

it was said by capcom that the game would look better on the 360 . PS3 is downgrading it .

I don't know, cows were all over Eternal Sonata when they heard it was coming to PS3. Hype is really overrated here. Most people in life decide whether they want a game or not without hyping it so much. Halo 3 is an exception.
