Wow, Horizon Zero has good graphics, whoopie. Sony's exclusives are basically one play through experiences, then they go back on the shelf forever. MS/Win 10 exclusives are played for years because of the solid MP. But sure, robo dinos being hunted by cave girl might be a decent game.. Lol.

Xbox has halo.... halo is a game everyone knows about. Even non gamers know what halo is. Sony may have a bunch of exclusives that are good but none of them stand out to my non gaming friends.

And Nintendo does has a lot of games but most of them are niche. And you could find a lot of them on 3ds- either a direct port of a wii or wii u game, or some sort of variation, like Kirby, donkey kong, Mario kart etc

You are missing a ****-ton: Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, Second Son, Ratchet & Clank, Until Dawn, Resogun, Journey, Persona 5, FFXV, The Last Guardian, The Witness, God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Last of Us 2, and Death Stranding.

New IP's don't sell on Xbox, Spencer already said as much. Xbox fans love shooter and racers, that's it.

The thing is 10 years back there were certain genres or franchises I never saw on the pc, now I am seeing them all come on the pc.. And what franchises that don't make it on the pc there are a assortment of great alternatives within the genre.

Many of those experiences I can get on Ps4. While Sony has experiences you can't anywhere else. The X1 currently has NO competitive fighter that touches Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and Street Fighter V. Series like Gears are no longer orginal and have been done to death. Games like Sea of Theives are kool but we need more of it. Overal Sony has more roundedd library The X1 is lackluster in comparison.

I don't see why people gave ProtossRushX so much shit for this thread when he's right. Microsoft is in need of a new IP that's capable of starting a franchise on the level of Halo and Gears.

To each their own. I don't play fighting games, but according to Metacritic the latest season of KI out scored SF5. Somebody likes it.

Uncharted 4 was nothing original either. It was a one and done for me. I had no incentive to go back to it. I mean, the gameplay isn't so great that I am going to see if Rafe is going to beat me again. If it wasn't for Survival mode, I would've never touched it again. Which brings me to Horde 3.0 and MP. Gears is just a more challenging experience in these realms. I don't really play racers either, but FH has me covered better than anything PS offers. Halo is still my go to game. Warzone and warzone firefight are among the best MP shooting experiences available. PS4 has games I can play on X1 to compete with it. KZSF? LOL

Actually Uncharted 4 innovated in ways people don't realise. ND obsession with minor detail created an experience you can't anywhere else and It made gunfights super intense. The fact you care about the characters make it even better.

Gears of War didn't invent Horde Mode. You should play more games. Uncharted 4 Survivor mode was more challengingin than 98% shooters I played last year including DOOM. You won't see many gamers 3 star Crushing difficulty let alonr Expert The only real issue with GT is sound wich is now being handled by Drive Club devs. I wouldn't count out GT just yet it has better handling than Forza wich is now more arcadey than sim. So yea it should be an overall great experience this time around. Halo and Gears didn't do much to keep things fresh. What's funny is when you put Halo 4 and 5 side by side there is almost no difference. LOL

When it's all said and done Sonys library is more appealing to a world wide audience. The X1 caters to small demographic. Sure it has some unique experiences here and there but Sony has it on lock.

They need exclusives period. They have almost all Rare IPS apart from Donkey Kong centered characters. You'd think they would do something with it right? *sigh*

But ND gave players the option to avoid firefights more in U4. More intense? That's completely subjective because they weren't for me. Tagging enemies kinda made things easier than any other Uncharted before imo. So please enlighten the rest of us as to all this "innovation" in Uncharted 4.

When did I say Gears created Horde mode? You're pseudo accusing me of false hoods now. You wont see anybody survive Horde 3.0 for 50 levels with 3 players, period. You feel Survival is the best or hardest and I wont argue that with you. Your feelings are your own. Who am I to say you don't feel that way. I know for my money and time, Horde 3.0 is the more fun challenging, strategic version of this co op.

GT can get a 10/10 next time out for all I care. Forza has dumped on it for quite a few years now. Its going to take more than one good game for GT to become the better racing series again.

Not really. GT is solid series. It just had minor issues that really held it back. Compared to GT Forza is casual racer. There are Pro raceres who started from GT.

Just sayin Sony caters to bigger audience wich is why more people buy there console. Sony is nown to take losses for new IP's or sequels because they know it's important to lthe game ibrary and fanbase.. When was the last time MS had a sequel to a failed new IP?

Things like Microsoft cancelling Scalebound is the reason I don' game on Xbox. They don't take L's like Sony for the fanbase. and they have a lot more money to do so. By the the way things are going you would think Sony has money than MS. This is why Sony is more respected in the community. Also if you don't like Halo Gears or Forza the X1 doesnt have much outside those franchises. They haven't had a new heavty hitter since Gears. Lemming are happy playing the same old games year after year that are mostly copy and paste jobs Atleast in Uncharted 4 has EVERYTHING new or updated and it feels fresh..

Overall Sony has a better understanding of what gamers wan't wich is why people gravitate to their console.. Sony is far from perfect but they do good where it counts.
